  • Private garden

Spread over two floors, this apartment has been lovingly converted from two properties into one - ensuring it offers guests plenty of living space and two large bedrooms. The property is absolutely immaculate and finished to a high specification with under floor heating throughout.

Upon entering this adorable home, guests will find themselves on the upper floor (raised ground floor) of the property. This consists of a bright modern kitchen, dining room and a living area. The living area is well decorated, light and airy - owing to its large windows. Two well stocked, white bookcases sit either side of the windows and there is a modern flat-screen television. The room boasts a window seat which is perfect for reading or simply relaxing as well as another comfortable sofa, two delightful armchairs and feature fireplace. This great space also offers a single bed. Simply remove the cushions from the bespoke in-built sofa and it transforms into a single bed!

Down a couple of steps takes you to the dining area. A cute dark wooded table, with two benches either side, comfortably seats four. Much like the living area, interesting artwork adorns the walls.

Next to the dining area is the modern kitchen. Dressed in an eye-catching red, guests will find everything they'll need to prepare meals at home with appliances including a large fridge/freezer, modern oven and hob, dishwasher... and even surround sound speakers!

Downstairs you'll find two gorgeous bedrooms, the main bathroom and a charming garden.

The master bedroom is generously sized - large enough to boast a free-standing, luxury bath which sits in the grand bay window behind netted curtains. There is a king-sized bed, an armchair, bookcase, two bed side tables, chest of drawers and a wall-mounted flat-screen television.

The second double bedroom is beautifully furnished and well decorated. There are two bed side tables, a chair, chest of drawers and double patio doors which allow guests access to the small private garden... perfect for the warmer months. Open the patio doors and enjoy a morning coffee in bed!

The bathroom has large coloured tiles and beautiful butterflies adorn the walls. There are twin wash basins, a further bath, a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, mirror, shelves and a toilet.

The apartment benefits greatly from its proximity to delightful Notting Hill - full of independent boutiques, cafes and restaurants. For access to Oxford Street and other parts of London take the tube from Ladbroke Grove (less than a 5 minute walk) which connects the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines and reaches Soho and Covent Garden in just 15 minutes. This is a great choice of apartment for two couples or a family of four in a fabulous part of London!

The London region

Notting Hill

Notting Hill is a cosmopolitan district known for its summer carnival and perhaps more famously, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in 'that' movie. It has a contemporary reputation as a fashionable and affluent area, known for attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses, high-end retail and restaurants – perfect for families of all sizes and ages.

The pastel-coloured homes are as iconic to London as Big Ben, and Portobello Market is a classically British attraction. With stalls of antiques, jewellery, furs, fresh street food and often performers amid the upmarket shops, this in an area which must be visited. Refuel in one of the charming cafes with a cappuccino and some artisan treats, or perhaps choose one of the many restaurants for an impressive dining experience. For cinema with a difference, the Electric Cinema offers leather armchairs, footstools and cashmere blankets.

Nearby Westbourne Grove is the perfect spot for some shopping and brunch at Nicole Farhi's 202 which comprises both café and fashion boutique. The area has also had an association with artists and 'alternative' culture for some time with Notting Hill Arts Club a 'muso' favourite. Its cultural diversity, proximity to central London and large family homes make it a prime location for a stylish stay for all the family.
