This beautiful loft-style apartment is in a Georgian building and has a lovely airy atmosphere. High ceilings and wooden floors give it a modern feel as well as modern fittings and appliances.

The main living space has a large L shaped sofa which folds out into a double bed, and large sash windows. In the living area there is a 42” tv with Sky HD, Playstation console, an iPod dock and a Sonos speaker system. This open-plan space also has a large dark wooden dining table with 5 beige suede chairs and a designer white wall-mounted radiator. Stylish black and white prints on the walls, in-set ceiling lighting and a sleek floor lamp would give this room a warm feel in the evenings.

The kitchen, which is also an open-plan area leading off this living space, has ceiling windows, smart worktops and all silver appliances, including a large fridge-freezer, a blender/juicer, dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. The fitted cupboards are a smart dark wood, the oven has two sections and there is also an iPod dock and a small wall-mounted tv in this modern style kitchen.

The bathroom on this floor has a deep white bath with spa jets (and a shower over it), a white basin and wc, and the boiler with temperature and timer controls. The wooden floor continues from the kitchen into this room and a splash of colour is provided with an interesting painting.

The master bedroom has a large double bed with a dark wood headboard to match the large full length mirror. There is an iPod dock with alarm clock, a wake up light, and a tv with Sky+ and a dvd player. There is a smart three drawer bedside table and a wall-hung silver lamp above the bed. The large sash windows lets in lots of natural light and there is plenty of storage space in the white built-in wardrobe.

The en suite bathroom has a heated towel rail, a large shower cubicle and a wc and basin. Above this there is a large mirror and a glass shelf.

A second bedroom has a double bed and a chest of drawers (as well as a computer and a printer/scanner/copier).

The most impressive aspect of this property is the large roof terrace. With a built-in wooden seating area large enough for at least 16 people, a canvas umbrella, Weber gas bbq and a speaker system, this rooftop haven is ideal for socialising.

This charming and modern apartment is in a superb location in the heart of Notting Hill. With many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops right on your doorstop you'll be spoilt for choice. The famous Notting Hill Carnival in August is a must-see event, but throughout the year the selection of bars and shops with their amazing cultural diversity makes this area vibrant and exciting. It is only a 5 minute walk to Notting Hill Gate Underground station (with handy connections on the Central Line) and only 5 minutes' walk to Royal Oak, on the Overland which will take you to Stratford (for the Olympic Village within about 25 minutes).Kensington Gardens and Holland Park are also close by if you fancy a stroll in some green space.
