This building is located a few steps from the Piazza on King Street. It contains three recently refurbished bright and spacious one-bedroom flats on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors overlooking King Street to the front and the pretty St Pauls Churchyard to the rear. It lies equidistant from Covent Garden and Leicester Square Underground Stations.
Each apartment can sleep up to four people – two in the bedroom and two on a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge area. These areas also contain a table, four chairs and a flat-screen TV. A fifth person can stay in apartments one and two with an optional fold out bed (£40 per stay).
Our flats all have modern shower-rooms (shower, hand basin and toilet) and fully fitted and equipped kitchen facilities.
Covent Garden lies in the heart of Central London and was originally home to London's fruit and vegetable market. It is now the hub of London's Theatreland and other important entertainment venues, the most important of which is the imposing Royal Opera House in Drury Lane. Most venues lie within five to ten minutes' walk of our apartments.
Covent Garden houses the London Transport Museum and most of London's tourist attractions- including the London Eye,- lie within easy travelling distance.
A wealth of street entertainment can be found in the famous Piazza. The former Market Building now contains an exotic mix of small shops, cafés and bars as well as the famous Apple Market stalls selling antiques, jewellery, clothing and gifts. Whilst King Street now contains the largest 'Apple' computer store, by contrast, Neal Street, Neal's Yard and Seven Dials and many of the neighbouring streets are littered with independent retailers selling a large selection of interesting and unusual items.
The area contains a very large number of old pubs as well as a wide variety of restaurants bars and cafés to suit every taste. There are also several supermarkets for those who wish to cater for themselves.
Our apartments all lie within a few minutes' walk of either Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line) and / or Leicester Square (Northern Line) Underground stations as well as many public bus routes.

*Security deposit of £200 to cover any loss or damage during your stay.
This will be returned 7 days following your departure by bank transfer. You will be notified of any deductions beforehand.

The apartment at 6 King Street Covent Garden is only a 150 steps or so from the Piazza in Covent Garden and central to everything - about 5 minutes walk to Leicester Square and about 8 minutes to Regent Street, 5 minutes to Trafalgar Square so is in the middle of all the action Flat 2 is on the second floor and there are 57 steps to reach it. We enjoyed our 8 day visit, the bed was comfortable and the apartment nice and clean with a maid service included in the price. The equipment was a bit lacking - much of it was missing ie there were only two mugs and no cups for an apartment for four and there was no dryer as listed only a drying rack but washing did dry quickly on it. I would say they need to keep an eye on equipment and make sure they have quantities as listed on the inventory. They supplied dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher when asked. There is no problem with noise as referred to in a previous review - sitting in the lounge in the evening you can hear a little noise from the street but when you shut the 2 doors between the kitchen and bedroom it's like being in a quiet oasis of calm - admittedly sometimes in the night you might hear a clock chime but you are in the centre of London. If you are so sensitive a pair of silicone earplugs fixes this but we didn't use ours. We were a little concerned sending 1200 pounds to Medworth Investments (we dealt with Sarah) but our security deposit was refunded promptly with no issues. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay in central London. |

This place has location, service and comfort. You can't get any closer to the heart of London and although the tube is right there its easier to walk to just about everything. From the booking right through to the deposit refund it was simple, great communication from Sarah and Jo. We didn't want to leave but we plan to come back in 2 years and we won't look any further for accommodation. Great value also, a must for any London traveller who doesn't want to spend time on transport. |
