LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! A cosy haven of charm and comfort right at the very centre of London!

Very close to Soho, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, West End theatres, Oxford street shopping, British Museum, Oasis gym and swimming pool, etc. All within 5 minutes walk.

Restaurants, shops, cafés etc. just outside the building's door inc. Starbucks, Superdrug, and London's famous bookstore Foyles.

Tottenham court rd. tube station just outside the door.

The bright and airy split level studio room has 2 large panoramic windows overlooking Charing Cross Road and the trees that line this famous street. The room has charm in abundance, mixing modern design that incorporates an interesting split level living area and the original features of the impressive Edwardian building.

Well equipped (even some classic films on DVDs to watch...). Cable TV, free Wi Fi Broadband hi speed.

"The discomfort and neglect inside was matched by the noise and chaos of the Cross rail building site across the road"

Cracks, water stained walls and ceilings, kitchen ceiling lights that didnt work. No light in theshower. A toilet you could barely squeeze into, with a wash hand basin the size of a largecup. An iron,… More

1. Size - the studio is as written in the ad 24 sq m / 258 sq ft- small, but bright, well designed , and has a perfect central location.
2. Ventilation - there is a fan and a cooler which keep the flat cool in the summer + both bedroom and kitchen have windows that open.
3. Ironing board - No guest has ever requested it before. There is no need, as there is a large kitchen bar that can be used as a surface, but we will gladly add an ironing board now.
4. Comfortable seating - a very comfortable sofa + 2 folding chairs if needed.
5. Kitchen lights - The flat has about 8 different spots providing lights with dimmers to control it. if one of more of the bulbs needed changing the guest could have told the flat's manager who would have replaced them immediately(there are extra bulbs in the flat).
6. Shower light – There is a special shower-room wall-mounted flashlight which needs to be turned on (It's very simple, but if the guest needed help working it out, he should have called the flat's manager, who would gladly instruct him how to operate it).
7. The nearby Crossrail works - Crossrail strictly avoid noise during rest hours and the flat has very efficient double glazing. As a result – there is no noise from the works, and certainly no "deliveries around the clock". The building site can only be seen from the kitchen window (not a "full on" view in front, but in the corner of it), and not at all from the three big windows in the living area which feature a lovely green view of the trees in Charing Cross rd.
8. This lovely little studio in a very central location in London is solidly booked by happy customers, many of them return customers.
We like our guests to be happy. If the guest did not find the flat to his liking, he should have told the flat's manager, and we would gladly reimburse him in case he would have chosen to move somewhere else. This is our policy.

"Excellent location"

Having stayed in London before (once in a four star hotel) I expected everything in the apartment to be tiny. Small bathrooms are surprising, but are mostly the norm in older European cites. We didn… More

All in all we are very disappointed with this one review which, as you can see, is the only bad review this flat has had (1 out of 10). Most guests find it charming and delightful and many re-book it for their next visits in London.

"Nice studio in the center of London"

The studio is very central (Soho). The layout is really cute, and well organised, relative to the small size of the place. It's not an upscale studio, but it is very good value for money. We enjo… More

Regarding the heat - It is indeed an unusually and extremely hot summer in London, and thanks to your comment we purchased an air cooler. So the flat now has both an electric air cooler and a fan for the comfort of the guests.

"Cozy flat in Ideal Location"

My wife and I stayed in this flat for 4 nights. It is a charming place with all the necessary amenities with the charm of a London rental. The location is perfect as it is very close to the underground rail and is located on the edge of Soho and Covent Garden. All you need to do is step outside and you are in the middle of the action with close proximity to Oxford Street with all the shopping and many great eateries as well.

The owner of the flat was very easy to deal with - promptly returning all my e-mail inquiries and even shipped some clothing items I accidentally left in the apartment all the way to the U.S. at no charge. One can tell the customer service and satisfaction are important to the owner. We would certainly stay here again!

"Location"

Stayed here for two weeks. Perfect location for getting almost anywhere. Two different Underground stops close by. Easy walking distance to Westminster Abby, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace. Grocery store and drugstore about 2 - 3 blocks away. Theater district about 3 blocks away. Felt safe even when returning early in the morning. Starbucks across the street. There was a elevator / lift, but I would climb the stairs. Would definitely recommend this place and I will stay here again.
