Tottenham court rd. tube station just outside the door.

The bright and airy split level studio room has 2 large panoramic windows overlooking Charing Cross Road and the trees that line this famous street. The room has charm in abundance, mixing modern design that incorporates an interesting split level living area and the original features of the impressive Edwardian building.

Well equipped (even some classic films on DVDs to watch...). Cable TV, free Wi Fi Broadband hi speed.

The apartment is surprisingly quiet considering its central location. This is because the apartment is high above the road and has very effective glazing. (third floor, with a vintage 1930s lift). A separate shower cubicle. A very comfortable double bed that slides out at bed time and slides away during the day. A well equipped kitchen. Linen and towels provided.

The flat's manager meets you at the flat upon arrival and checks you in.

"NEVER AGAiN VERY POOR!!"

The toilet was so tiny that you could not wipe your backside without opening the door.Only one window could be opened which meant there was no ventilation flowing through the room.The was no light in … More

Size - the studio is 24 sq m / 258 sq ft- small, but bright, well designed , and has a perfect central location.
Windows – both living room and kitchen have windows that open. In addition we supply a fan and cooler which keep the flat cool in the summer.
Shower light – There is a special shower-room wall-mounted flashlight which needs to be turned on (It's very simple, but if the guest needed help working it out, he should have called the flat's manager, who would gladly instruct him how to operate it).
Bed – The double bed slides out at bed time and slides away during the day, as described. It has a quality mattress, and most guests find it very comfortable.
Noise from the nearby Crossrail works - Crossrail strictly avoid noise during rest hours and the flat has very efficient double glazing. As a result – no one has ever before complained about noise from the works, and the flat is solidly booked by happy customers.
We like our guests to be happy. If the guest did not find the flat to his liking, he should have told the flat's manager, and we would gladly reimburse him in case he would have chosen to move somewhere else. This is our policy.
All in all we are very disappointed with this one review which, as you can see, is the only bad review this flat has had (1 out of 10). Most guests find it charming and delightful and many re-book it for their next visits in London.

Regarding the heat - It is indeed an unusually and extremely hot summer in London, and thanks to your comment we purchased an air cooler. So the flat now has both an electric air cooler and a fan for the comfort of the guests.

"Cozy flat in Ideal Location"

My wife and I stayed in this flat for 4 nights. It is a charming place with all the necessary amenities with the charm of a London rental. The location is perfect as it is very close to the underground rail and is located on the edge of Soho and Covent Garden. All you need to do is step outside and you are in the middle of the action with close proximity to Oxford Street with all the shopping and many great eateries as well.

The owner of the flat was very easy to deal with - promptly returning all my e-mail inquiries and even shipped some clothing items I accidentally left in the apartment all the way to the U.S. at no charge. One can tell the customer service and satisfaction are important to the owner. We would certainly stay here again!

"Location"

Stayed here for two weeks. Perfect location for getting almost anywhere. Two different Underground stops close by. Easy walking distance to Westminster Abby, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace. Grocery store and drugstore about 2 - 3 blocks away. Theater district about 3 blocks away. Felt safe even when returning early in the morning. Starbucks across the street. There was a elevator / lift, but I would climb the stairs. Would definitely recommend this place and I will stay here again.

"perfect place to stay right in the center of the city"

Arrived in London in the afternoon, was welcomed by the very friendly manager and handed the keys. The manager provided his hand phone number gave us peace of mind. The apartment was clean, tidy and a fantastic alternative to a hotel room. There is the hustle and bustle of theatre district and shopping streets right on the doorstep but no street noise is heard when in the apartment. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 12 days, the cost of the apartment would be 50% cheaper than any of the hotels in the area. All in all a great place to stay, will defiantly book again.

I have stayed at this flat on a number of different occassions and have allways been happy with my stay. If you want somewhere with a great location and facilities in the center of London without the overpiced cost of a hotel then this place is for you.
