The property is strictly non smoking. Unfortunately, the accommodation is not suitable for hen and stag parties. The property will comfortably sleep 7 in the bedrooms and 3/4 more using the sofa beds and a single beech slat guest bed which could be used in the attic bedroom or the dining room.

The Cambridgeshire region

East Anglia has many attractions. Ely is a short distance from Cambridge and is famous for its magnificent Cathedral and Oliver Cromwell's house. The whole area is well known for having very few hills and lends itself to easy cycling and walking. It is a beautiful rural area with lovely beaches in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Central Cambridge

Cambridge is famous for its university colleges, historic buildings, punting on the River Cam and renowned past residents such as Newton and Darwin. It is steeped in history. It also offers excellent shopping and a variety of restaurants, pubs and bars. There are plenty of sports facilities including the close by public tennis courts at Jesus Green and several golf courses within easy reach of the city centre. There is an excellent public transport system but the easiest way to get around is to hire a bike - have fun and keep fit at the same time.

"wonderful house in a convenient location"

We stayed here with family to visit my nephew who is at University in Cambridge. It is conveniently located with some on street no permit parking nearby if you are lucky or there are some parking meter spaces just around the corner or you can do as we did and park in the long stay car park at the end of the road (less than 10 minutes walk) for £7.20 a day (9:00-6:00) and you dont have to pay on Sundays. Once you have unloaded the car, you do not need it again if you plan to just visit Cambridge as everything is in walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with large room sizes. We comfortably were able to sleep 10 people. There were nice touches such as chocolates left on the bed, soap, toilet rolls and washing up liquid left for us to use. We did have two children with us and the loft room stairs are very steep so we had to keep the door closed to this room. I have noticed that since we booked, the advert says that the house is not suitable for children but this is the only room which isnt. Overall, it is a great house for large groups and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
