About this location

The Somerset region

Bath's claim to fame includes the only hot springs in the country, which fill the Roman Baths and the new Thermae Bath Spa, the most modern Spa building in the country; the abundance of Georgian terraced houses and many individual unique buildings of that era, and the gorgeous setting in the rolling wooded hills of Somerset.

The city centre is entirely user-friendly, walkable, compact and delightful to explore. There are intriguing museums, famous-name restaurants, individual shops, and pavement cafes.

Explore the sights along Kennet and Avon canal or the delights of the River Avon.

Central Bath

There is so much to see and learn about in the city centre itself; a good starting point would be the free walking tours of Bath with the Mayor's fully trained Honourary Guides, which operate twice every day; or take a trip on the city tour buses which make a journey through and round the city at regular intervals all day every day.

Visit the museums - Building of Bath Museum, Herschel Museum, Museum of Bath at Work, Holburne Museum, American Museum, Jane Austen Centre, Fashion Museum - there is enough here to keep you busy for a week!

Festivals run at intervals during the year - the Literature Festival, Music Festival, Taste of Bath, Jane Austen Festival, Mozartfest, and the Christmas market. The Theatre Royal has pre-London shows, there are two other small theatres, and several picture houses

Attractions further afield include Longleat, Cheddar gorge and caves, Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells Cathedral, Bristol and pretty Cotswold villages.

"not good"

had oven been clean and usable would not had problem but being new year was not easy finding places to eat. Also was not expecting extra costs which is why booked self catering… More

Thank you very much for your comments which have been noted. It is always disappointing to note that our guests are unhappy with any aspect of our properties. Unfortunately we were only made aware of this after the guests vacated the property and we were therefore not given the opportunity to rectify the issue raised. We have spoken with the housekeeper who has addressed this.

"I would stay here again"

I would highly recommend this apartment. The location was excellent, just a short walk into the city centre, very close to local amenities, such as the park and supermarket. There was plently of beddin… More

Thank you for the feedback. When the property was recently refurbished the DVD player was moved into the bedroom along with the tv that was then in the lounge. A flat screen tv was then installed on the wall in lounge with all the cables behind the wall. To move the DVD elsewhere would mean cables dangling and a stand for the tv to rest on.
Your comments regarding the booking process are appreciated. From the email trail it is noted that calls were returned however the facility to leave a message was not available.

"Good Value for Money"

I stayed in the apartment last summer with my two kids a 5 and a 6 years old. It was the perfect location for me and my children. Very short walk to sainsbury supermarket and to a beautiful small park with playground and its a few minutes walk to the center and all Bath attractions. The apartment was a bit small but wasn't an issue, specially with the price, it was a good value for money. The apartment was clean and it felt new. Kitchen was fully equipped. Owner very helpful. I liked having my own entrance. The private courtyard perfect for the kids they enjoyed having their breakfast every morning outside. I would stay again. I LOVE BATH!!!!!
