Stayed for a hen party and was thrilled at the space and quality on arrival. Was concerned before we arrived that it may have been to far from the shops but it was in fact just a beautiful walk through the park away. Fantastic time and great facilities in the house

"If you've booked Marae, the hard work is over!"
I found Marae after an extensive property search involving a number of double bookings/last minute cancellations for my sister-in-laws hen do weekend in Bath. However, the phrase "everything happens for a reason" certainly applied to this booking as Marae turned out to be an absolute gem! Not only is this rental significantly greater value for money than many of the over-priced properties located in Bath, but Marae is a house which offers both high quality accommodation and an owner with an excellent standard of customer service. The L-shaped open plan layout was perfect for our large group and we had use of every facility that we could have hoped for...including a massage chair none the less! All four bedrooms offer a comfortable nights sleep (as do the large sofas + extra bedding). The welcome pack included not only tea/coffee/milk but also a delicious cake. The location of Marae is also great as it is an easy downhill walk to the city centre (about a mile) yet the property is far enough out that it comes with a good sized garden...a garden equipped with a large table, BBQ and gym! It's worth noting that the sign for the property (located ON Weston Road as written elsewhere in the reviews for Marae) is quite small and the driveway you turn onto from the road first passes to the left of a large property located in front of the bungalow which is Marae. We managed to find our way back to the house on a number of occasions using the block of flats directly opposite the turning for Marae as our landmark! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marae to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bath!
