"unrivalled location, beautifully appointed, perfect for exploring Bath"
This is my second stay in this house. First time for a mums weekend away in 2008, this time for a parent's 70th with family. Ideal for both sets of people. Such a central location, nowhere is more than a 10min walk (Roman Baths, shops, theatre, Thermae Spa) and some only 2 mins.(Fashion museum/open top bus stop/assembly rooms). A parking space, worth its weight in gold in Central Bath. House is gorgeous and feels very decadent, spread over 3 floors. Well appointed, bathrooms very plush. Georgian proportions but the height of modernity(children were fascinated by the integral vacuum system) Doesn't feel at all tired in the gap between visits.
Bertinet bakery directly opposite the front door that has croissants and pastries to die for on a Saturday morning.
Ate at Loch Fyne and Bathwick Boathouse, both very good. www.razorcats.co.uk also a highlight for the 70th , great and different way to see Bath.

"What a beautiful house!"
Really nice house in an excellent location! We really enjoyed ourselves! Has everything that you need for a brilliant weekend! Only let down was the BBQ was really dirty so we couldn't use it but it didn't stop us having a brilliant time!
