The natural heart of this home is the large and sociable open-plan kitchen, diner and living room. The cream fitted country style kitchen is set in a large bay looking onto an imaginatively planted courtyard garden. There is an induction hob and electric oven, a large fridge and separate freezer, a small dishwasher, a krups filter coffee maker and a generous supply of crockery, cooking utensils and cookbooks to peruse at the kitchen table which seats 6. From the kitchen you can see a bright and inviting little garden room and office (where the microwave is neatly housed). French doors open to a spacious courtyard garden with an outdoor table and chairs for 6. In fine weather, you can soak up the sun and admire all 5 floors of this lovely Georgian house, built in warm Bath stone with wrought iron balconettes, walled gardens and the mature trees of Henrietta Park visible over the top.
The living room has a large electric fire with a mirror over and two large sofas to seat up to 6 (one of which is a sofa bed). In alcoves either side of the fire is a TV with DVD and X-box and a selection of books and games.
The generous master bedroom in soft woodland greens has two Bath stone alcoves which previously held a cooking range and bread oven. They are now home to an elegant chest of drawers and chair and are opposite a comfortable 5' bed and a large Edwardian mirrored wardrobe.
A smart contemporary ensuite is fully tiled in a smooth barley colour and has a small deep square bath with a rainfall showerhead over, along with a handheld shower hose. There is a WC and a handy shelf space for toiletries.
A second large bedroom in the vaults has a 5' bed along with a pretty 3' single daybed. There is plenty of room for the wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror over. Also in the vaults is a huge contemporary bathroom tiled throughout. Drench yourselves in a vast walk-in shower at one end or take a bath which also has a hand-held shower hose. There is a large hand basin and a WC with a long shelf for toiletries.
In the lobby in front of the bedroom and bathroom is a neat utility area with a washing machine, separate dryer and other home essentials.
Finally there is a snug single room with 3' bed in a pretty cream metal frame. Tucked behind the bed is an open storage cupboard with hanging and shelf space. Light filters through from an internal window that looks through into the office and garden room.

The Somerset region
The area within which the city of Bath is found is rich in heritage and culture; with over 800 Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings.
In the greater area of Somerset there is much to do and see; with the added benefit of having some of the best of the British weather! Somerset's beautiful countryside has attracted many famous individuals throughout history; including Sir William Wordsworth an English poet laureate of the 19th Century.
Somerset has great historical significance, and has played a part in every period including the Roman Conquest, the Norman invasion, the War of the Roses, and even right up till the present day!
Bath, a designated World Heritage Site, is one of Britain’s most beautiful and historically significant cities with Breathtaking Roman, Medieval, Georgian and Victorian architecture - all within walking distance of its imposing cathedral and romantic riverside park.
Bath's appeal is guaranteed to impress the most discerning of visitors; indeed the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Pulteney Bridge and the Pump Room are noted among Britain's finest architectural treasures.
Beautiful historic sites to explore, along with excellent shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and museums.
