The Somerset region
Bath is surrounded by beautiful countryside where you will find country pubs and walks galore just a few minutes away. If you fancy exploring further, it is within easy reach of bustling market towns, mythical and historical landmarks (e.g. Stonehenge and Glastonbury Tor) and peaceful waterways.
Bath was built for the people of London to have somewhere to come purely to socailise. It is today packed full of bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs, museums, shops and cinemas with the famous Theatre Royal that has shows on before they go to the West End. Bath boasts the Thermae Spa which is the only natural spa in Britain and a not-to-be-missed pampering delight.
The architecture of Bath is world-famous and some of the most beautiful buildings in the world are here; including The Royal Crescent, The Circus, Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths and Pulteney Bridge to name but a few. In the centre is also the famous Bath Rugby Club. At Christmas people come to visit the Christmas Market from all over the world.
Bath is popular for shopping; especially for its many quirky independent shops as well as the usual large stores and is the most popular Hen Weekend city in the country. There is a huge park for children a few minutes from the apartment and there is a Leisure Centre in the city for all. The Theatre Royal has a special dedicated children's theatre called 'The Egg' where they also do activities for children in the holidays.

"A wonderful, homely base for exploring Bath"
I stayed at Margaret's Buildings for the weekend with a group of friends and we had a wonderful time. The flat is spacious and very homely, lots of little touches which really make you feel at home, including lots of books, CDs and DVDs to keep you entertained! The location is fantastic for exploring Bath, walking distance from the train station, shops and the Roman Baths. There are restaurants nearby but we ate in the flat both evenings, facilities were great. Would really recommend this property for anyone spending time in Bath, my friends and I have already started talking about our next trip and will definitely try to stay here again! Thank you Katie for all your help, we had a brilliant weekend.

"Amazing little find!"
Our family of five spent a fantastic three nights here. Bath is a beautiful city and the apartment was ideally located to explore by foot and for attractions further afield. The children thought it was very cosy and there were plenty of dvd's to watch in the evenings. The flat has all you need for a very comfortable stay.
