Nestled in the hillside overlooking the Old Town and Fisherman's Beach, our apartment's balcony and huge windows are south facing, making it very light and airy. Whilst there is a great sea view from the balcony, it's spectacular from the complex's private pool and terrace! Just 2 minutes walk away you'll find the Old Town square with its numerous bars and restaurants, and the escalator down to Fisherman's Beach. We hold the official Alojamento Local renting license, and in our 8th year (a quarter of our guests return time & time again!) we still reinvest regularly to add everything needed for a home from home, like completely private wifi, comfy furniture, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous shower. On arrival you'll receive our 'welcome pack' with our own tips and helpful contacts that we've accrued during our own stays, and a few essentials to help you settle in. We can also help with car hire or airport transfers should you require. This is 'our place', we love it, & we'd like to share it with you!

The apartment sleeps 2 spaciously, or 4/5 comfortably.
Now in our 8th year as owners, we reinvest regularly to keep the apartment a real home from home for both us and our guests, a quarter of which have now become regulars! Thoughtful features include totally private wifi (so no sharing with neighbours and capable of coping with many devices at once), blackout curtains for great sleeps, and huge windows & patio doors for letting the sun in afterwards!
Comfy beds can be made up as double or twin singles as required, and there is a sofa bed & large corner sofa in the living area. Refurbed bathroom with spacious corner shower cabinet and separate bath with shower attachment. Modernised fully equipped kitchen with all home comforts including full-sized washing machine, microwave, fridge, hob, toaster etc.
Spacious living area with dining table & chairs, plus lounge area with large corner sofa & sofa bed, coffee table & TV/DVD player. Hi-fi with CD, mp3 compatibility & radio.
Large airy balcony with table, chairs and patio doors to both bedroom and lounge.
For your comfort whatever time of year, movable heaters and fans are provided. Wifi internet available for use with guests' laptop/smartphones etc at no extra cost.
We also hold the Alojamento Local Portuguese Property License which all holiday rental properties are required to hold, but not all do!
Booking with an official license holder means you can be sure of a continued great standard of accommodation and cleanliness, so it's a good idea to always check the property you're booking holds one.
Old Town Square less than 5 minutes' walk away. Montechoro Strip 5 minute cab or scenic train ride. The Marina area with its beach, restaurant and bars also 5 mins cab ride. All cabs between the 3 points are around 4 euros.
Supermarkets, shopping centre, restaurants and bars all within a short walk. Range of cuisines catered for in the Old Town and Montechoro Strip, all within 5 minutes reach.

Complex with well established plantings and gardens. Nice shared pool and terrace area with snack bar and fantastic sea views. Please note not all the facilities eg. pool snack bar are open all year - please check if visiting out of season and this is important to you.
The complex has a few steps, so may not be suitable for less mobile guests.
Balcony is only one storey from pool and garden height, and balcony sides are hip height to an adult.
We are non-smokers, and would ask that guests also respect this inside the apartment.
The Algarve region
The borough of Albufeira receives a considerable percentage of the 5 million tourists who visit the Algarve annually. The frenetic summer season now extends into the rest of the year, for visitors of all ages and from all over the world. Its fabulous climate, with more than 3000 hours of sunshine per year, and the friendly charm of its people persuade many foreigners to move residence to the region, either temporarily or permanently. More people select Albufeira as their favourite destination because of its multiple attractions, i.e. the lively and social nightlife, the beautiful beaches, varied water sports, golf courses, glorious countryside and the local cuisine.
The aparthotel is perfectly situated overlooking the Old Town area, so while it benefits from being away from the over-populated 'touristy' areas, it's still just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town Square & its famous huge selection of bars & restaurants, and the same to the beautiful Fisherman's Beach. For nightlife-seekers the famous Montechoro 'Strip' is a few Euros cab ride away, and at the other end of the scale, many of the area's famous golf courses are also easily reachable by car, bus or cab. There's something for everyone, from varied watersports to quiet walks.

My wife and I stayed at the Cerro Branco from the 20th -24th Oct 14 and had a fantastic time.
The weather was excellent ( around 30 deg most of the time ) and this probably made the holiday, as we were looking forward to some winter sunshine.
Mandy was quick to respond to all our questions and everything went smooth and efficient, from our initial contact until we left on our last morning.
The Apartment was spacious, had a wonderful view over the Old Town and its obvious that Mandy and Becky use this as their second home as the place is so well equipped and comfortable.
As we were there in October, we had the pool area to ourselves and rarely saw anyone else when we went for our daily swims.
Cerro Branco is situated about 5 mins from the old town, where we spent most of our time, it's a great place to unwind at night, with plenty of good restaurants and live music etc.
This was our 3rd time in Albufeira, but first without the kids, and we will be back, hopefully we will get a chance to stay at Mandy and Becky's again, to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Old Town.

"A lovely appartment located within easy reach of the old town"
We had a fantastic time the appartment was like home from home it was clean and very comfortable. The appartment is located within five mins walk from the escalators down to the main square. What lovely friendly people and loads of place s to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay thee and I hope to go back soon.

"HOME FROM HOME APARTMENT"
On first arriving at the apartment you are firstly hit by the lovely views ,apartment is everything you could wish for and more, beautiful kitchen fully equipped and shower is amazing, only a short walk to all the treasures the old town has to offer, We had a brilliant time and will certainly be going back I will be sharing our experience with friends and family, big thank you to Lynn who was a great help to us and Mandy thank you again for sharing your lovely apartment with us. "Ticked every box!"
Was in the best location near all the shops,restaurants, the gorgeous beach of the old town. We had the most lovely view from the balcony! The apartment is very modern and had a lovely decor inside! Mandy and Beccy were really helpful and provided us with all the information and help we needed! Was the best holiday and worth every Pennie!!

"Fab apt, great location"
Large airy apt, fantastic views over old town from large living room or great balcony. Everything in kitchen you would need to make a snack or a full meal. Plenty of little extras thrown in, like great toasty machine.
Lovely clean bathroom with choice of bath or fab shower unit. Large bedroom with patio doors. Pool area very good, plenty of sunbeds. 5mins walk and you are at esculator for old town, local bars and mini-markets 2mins away. What more do you want or need??

"great apartment ....good location.."
The apartment was exactly what we were looking for ....really tastefully decorated and comfortable with everything we needed for a great holiday! We especially enjoyed our 'siesta' in the afternoon, glass of wine in hand, whilst taking in the mesmerizing view from the balcony .
Mandy and Beccy were in contact with us the whole time prior to leaving and made sure they had every base covered regarding any questions we had...
The location is very good and only five minutes to the old town and beach we had a fantastic time there...again thanks for a great holiday!!
ps Try the Havana bar just a 30 second walk from the apartment we loved it ..especially the music ( if you like Santana that is :) !!!

"Fantastic Apartment - Highly Recommended!!"
We have just returned from our stay in the apartment and cannot praise it highly enough. The apartment itself is spacious and really well appointed, the new kitchen and bathroom are fab.
The location is perfect, its only a 5 min walk to Fishermans Beach yet is still quiet on a night so the music from the bars won't disturb you.
We will definitely try and book again for our next visit and have already recommended it to friends and family.

"View and position excellent but complex run down."
Apartment well presented in general but needs some work done - CD player broken, front door damaged, wifi on the blink. Complex is in receivership so no pool bar, laundry or reception. Renovations went on next door the whole two weeks with noise all day and dust everywhere. A shame because the position and views were superb. Would be good for people who like night life as you can here the noise from the pubs in town each night.
As private owners that also stay in our own apartment regularly we thank you and take constructive feedback very seriously. As one of very few local holders of the legally required Alojomental Locale licence, which ensures standards of service, we also take every effort to invest in our apartment each winter to ensure that it remains one of the most comfortable in the complex. We trust that the CD player, which has now been replaced following your comment, and the wifi problems didn't spoil your holiday, and incidentally thank you for the note you left expressing that you'd had a lovely stay. Re the wifi, we believe we're the only apartment in the complex to offer this, and it must be understood that wifi in Portugal is not as stable as we may be used to as yet. We also understand there were a couple of compatibility issues with your particular Windows system, which we attended to with the help of the telecoms company as quickly as possible and happily absorbed the cost of. However, as far as we are aware there is no issue with the front door - it is secure and in a securely gated complex so we're unsure on that comment. We stayed in the apartment the day after you left so can appreciate the renovations taking place elsewhere in the building were a little noisy, but of course are out of our control.
We would, however, like to take the opportunity to correct you on your statement of the financial affairs of the complex. It is not in receivership and the condominium under new management is active. As we state in our particulars the bars are leased to private companies and we have no control over whether these are open. Our new kitchen, installed in December, has a washing machine which we have provided to our guests free of charge for their use so there is no need to use the complex laundry.
We thank you for taking the time to leave us the complimentary note in the apartment and are pleased that overall you, like all our other guests, have enjoyed your holiday.
