During high season (July & August) the properties are only available as a joint rent - up to 16 people.
We have two cottages and a studio that sleep 16 people in total, ideal for large family groups, or individually for smaller groups of 8 people (outside high season), we have rates for both cottages and rates for one cottage - check rate tables. Whilst situated on the same plot, the cottages have individual terraces offering out door dining & privacy if required.
Built in 1770, our cottages are restored with style and harmony, making sure that we will offer you all the luxury and comfort you will need. The cottages are well light and open plan, with excellent views over the rollings hills, as well as keeping almost all the 1770 stunning original features. The two cottages are set on one hectare of garden, in which you'll find a wide varieties of fruit trees (apples, pears, cherries, figs, plumbs, peaches... of which you are welcome to help yourself!), walnut trees, acacias, oaks etc...
On hot summer days, our 10 x 5 private swimming pool will cool you off nicely, as well as providing great entertainments for your kids, family and friends. Check out our website!
You can rent a cottage that sleeps eight or two cottages that sleep 16 people altogether, we cater for large and small groups.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
The summers in Aquitaine are fantastic, usualy hot and sunny, there is plenty to do . If you were feeling outgoing, Dordogne has everything to offer! From all sorts of sports (biking, trecking,horseridding, kayaking, paragliding) to the discovery of our dozens of medieval castles overlooking the Dordogne river, and the unique in Europe prehistorical caves and paintings of the Veyzere valley.
To complete the perfection of this beautiful area, you should go on a wine tour around all the most world renoun vineyards, St Emilion, Monbazillac, St Estephe etc... All of these above being at a relatively short drive from your cottage.,should you fancy a trip to the ocean and a visit to the world famous dune du Pyla, you can reach the west coast of france at the Bay of Arcachon within two hours drive on the motor way,where you can enjoy fresh local oysters.
Cendrieux / Sainte Alvere area
Cendrieux is a small village in the heart of the countryside, very peaceful and quiet. It is situated inbetween the large towns of Bergerac and Perigueux where you have movie theaters, shopping, restaurants and large stores. Le Bugue is about 12 kms away which is a beautiful little town located on the banks of the the Veyzere river. You will find there some local Cafes, a big market on Tuesdays, and pharmacies etc. The "foie gras" is THE local speciality! Enjoy!
The stunning medieval town of Sarlat is just over 20 km,as well as the world famous prehistorical caves "Les Eyzies" and "Lascaux". And not to far a drive (about an hour) ,you could discover the wine region of Bordeaux with its numerous wine castles,such as St.Emilion, Montbazillac, and many others.

Flybe and Ryanair fly daily to Bergerac (30kms / 35 mins) Easyjet and other companies to Bordeaux (160kms / 2 hours).

Conditions
25% of rental fee will secure your booking.
Full payment is due 8 weeks prior to commencement of your booking. A refundable security deposit of 500 Sterling Pounds will be asked with full payment.
The cottages are to be left as you would like to find them. However, we offer a end of stay cleaning service for 60 euros per cottage, payable locally.
Long term winter rates avaiable October - March £500 per month plus utility bills.
