We are situated 5 minutes walk from St Julien village (11th century). A popular walking route leading to the Dordogne river. We are just 3 minutes drive from Cenac with ( all amenities), including Tuesday morning market day.
12 kms from the medieval town of Sarlat with all year round Saturday market. Many Chateaux bursting out of the hillsides and caves to explore. Ballooning or canoeing right on the doorstep, always something to do.
Self-catering apartment in large garden, peaceful surroundings, private pool, terrace. The apartment adjoins the main house, but is completely independent. With its separate entrance door off the terrace. Inside there is a light and airy Kitchen/Lounge/Diner with garden views from all windows. A separate utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board. A double bedroom, bathroom. A second bedroom/lounge with a double sofabed and a door leading out to the terrace. (If rented by a couple this room would then become a spacious lounge.

Perigord Noir known as (place of a thousand chateaux ) Steeped in history .Les Eyzies., prehistoric rock dwellings are a wonder not to be missed, as is St Christophe, Domme with its connections with the Knights Templar!!
Cenac / St Julien de Cenac area
Beynac chateau former home of Richard The Lionheart and Castelnaud are very close,and La Roque Gaceac on the banks of the beautiful Dordogne river.
Adventure Park (all ages) 15mins drive. Cenac has market day on Tuesday morning, Domme has a Monday evening market with street entertainment, as does Sarlat on both Wednesdays and Saturdays.
There are numerous festivals, fairs during the summer months, details of these are available.
How to get there
Ryanair to Bergerac is closest budget airport to Cenac et St Julien.
Hertz and Europcar rental are at Bergerac airport. Driving time approx 1 hour.
Toulouse is also approx 2 hours drive away.

We are Australian,so no problems with English and we speak a little French.
We and our 2 small friendly dogs will welcome you on arrival, and if its laying season some fresh eggs!
Conditions
Security deposit of 100 Euro is held on arrival and returned on day of departure after property has been checked.
The rental rates include bed linen, towels and electricity plus a weekly clean if staying for more than 1 week.
