Once installed in Petit chateau Laburague, daily excursions to explore the magnificent sites, morning and evening markets, canoeing, golfing, horse riding, hicking and cycling are a definite option. Relaxing in the garden or by the pool, swimming by day and night are all wellcome breaks. The kitchen facilities invite home cooking and the BBQ eating out in the garden. The supermarket Shoppie is just 500m away and Cenac has a good bulangerie, butcher and wine shops. If one choses to eat out, there are nearby good restaurants, some of them Michelin reccomended, which offer gourme food dining. Children can swim, play on the premises and enjoy exploring theme parks and caves.

The large grange can serve as a gathering place for lectures, for children to play or BBQ cooking on a rainy day,
The garden has garden furniture, barbeque, and trees to provide shade. The tenants are welcom to enjoy the fruits in season.
The large pool on the property is fully secluded with beautiful views of the countryside and is shared by the two gîtes only. At night the pool is lit from below as well as above. The pool is large (14x6 m.) and shaded
There is no lifeguard on premises and children are not alowed in without parental supervision!
The Aquitaine region
"Périgord Noir" (Black Périgord) surrounding the administrative center of Sarlat, overlooks the valleys of the Vézère and the Dordogne, where the woods of oak and pine give it its name.
In addition to its castles, chateaux, churches, bastides and cave fortresses, the Périgord region has preserved from centuries past, a number of wonderful villages which still have their market halls, dovecotes, tories (stone huts), churches, abbeys and castles.
" Les plus beaux villages" of France : Domme, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, are within 10 min. drive from the gite.
Numerous castels and bastides, seen along the Dordogne river, impart a fairytale like sensation . They can also be visited.
.Michael Crichton's filmed novel, Timeline, is placed in mediaval times of the Dordogne, with Castelnaud as the main site of the plot.
The region is famous for its extremely well preserved prehistoric caves with expressive wall paintings,dating up to 40 000 years ago/
Dordogne is considered to be the capital of culinary pleasures.
Tourists from all over the world flock in summer months touring , canoeing, trecking, byking, horse riding, golfing,swimming and simply relaxing in one of this most beautiful parts of the world.
Cenac et Saint Julien lies in the center of Perigord Noire along the Dordogne river, in a close proximity to the houses of Domme.
The mediaval city of Sarlat Le Caneda- a world heritage- is within 10 min drive from the gite.
La Roque Gageac and the Chateaux de Beynac,de Castelnaud, de Milandes (of Josephine Baker), de Monfort- are all near by.
Prehistoric caves, famous gardens, the village of Rocamadour and all other famous tourist attractions are within an easy driving distance
. Day markets and evening markets during the summer are held on specific days of the week in most villages, with the famous market of Sarlat held on each Saturday. The market in Cenac is held every Tuesday.
Bathing in the Dordogne , swimming and relaxing in the superb privet pooll with its surrounding greenery have been regularily praised.
Cenac has a supermarket, book shop, restaurants, boulangeries, pharmacy , doctors , etc.
