Home description
This property is in two halves with a courtyard between them. The trullo has one bedroom with the capacity to sleep a further two on a bed settee. There are coffee making fcilities. The lamia also has one bedroom with the capacity to sleep a further two on a double bed sette. The lamia also contains the fitted kitchen/cooking facilities. The outdoor splash pool is approximately 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.3deep. Ideal for lounging around on those hot summer days.
This property is newly renovated so all interior fittings and furnishings are brand new. All bed linen and towels, including beach towels are included in the price.
Gardens have olive and fruit trees which clients are allowed to pick at their leisure. There is a separate BBQ area with BBQ provided. This area also has a grape vine growing overhead. The courtyard area has the plunge pool at one end and ample room for sunloungers etc.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is the olive oil capital of Italy. Providing 80 of the domestic consumption of olive oil. Wine also plays a big part in this region. All the local restaurants serve local wine which is excellant. Normally there are approx 300 days a year sunshine with temperatures reaching as high as 40° in direct sunshine. Most temperatures quoted on websites are shade temperatures. Puglia is flanked on onsde by the Adriatic seeand on the other by the Ionian both of which are crystal clear and excellent for snorkelling etc. There is open countryside all around the local towns which is ideal for walkers. Or you can just laze and relax, read,paint or whatever takes your fancy
Ceglie Messapica area
Ceglie Messapica is known locally as the "city of gastronomy" so the food is excellent and a very modest price (aprox €20 each including wine) Martina Franca is known as the "city of festivals" so there is always something going on.
How to get there
Fly direct by Ryanair from London Stansted to Bari, or Brindisi. British Airways fly direct to Bari and Brindisi from Gatwick on Saturdays and Thursdays, but this is a summer service only. Alitalia fly from London Heathrow changing in Rome. There are other options from various other regional British airports, but these would include a flight change. Check with your local carrier for details. All the major car hire companies are represented at both Bari and Brindisi airports. Check with your carrier as they often have deals in place.
