The newly renovated small stone house is located in a tranquil position in the middle of natural woodlands. Due to its high position there is a wonderful seaview from the front of the house down towards to the coastline. The position is very secluded. The main house is 30 metres away from where the owners of this property live during the months of July and August.
Even though the house is only a bedsitter with separate toilet, there's ample outdoor area with kitchen, dining area and lots of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The Sicily region

From Sant’Ambrogio you can easily reach many of the region’s most attractive areas including the beach (100 metres), the bustling city of Palermo (40 minutes by car), the spectacular Aeolian Islands (2 hours by boat) and the Park of the Madonie Mountains. You can explore the ancient fortresses or enjoy a show in the open air amphitheatre in the authentic hill top village of Pollina 700m above sea level. Or just relax and soak up the character of this lovely Sicilian village.
How to get there
Ryanair flight daily into Palermo, Punta Raisi airport which is located 113kms from the village.
The drive from the airport to the village is most of the way on motorway A20 Messina/Palermo, exiting at Castelbuono/Pollino and then taking road SS113 towards Cefalù, after 3 kms is the village of Sant'Ambrogio where someone will keep you to take you to the apartment.
The ferry port is in Palermo which is 90 kms away.
