Although not directly set in the centre this Villa is perfect for those seeking a twin based holiday also the historical seaside town of Cefalu is just 15 km away and Palermo some 60km. This is very much a Villa set for holidays by the shore being only 100m from the beach. It is easy to see why people come time and again. The furnishings inside are basic but comfortable and local amenities are just a stones throw away.
There are facilities in the garden to eat alfresco and enjoy once again the sounds of the sea whilst sipping a cool glass of Sicilian wine. Also perfect for children and teenagers as they can be on the beach whilst still being close enough to keep safe.
The owners of the Villa are very accommodating and are sometimes around to help out if needed. Fresh bread and oven baked pizzas are within walking distance and you will find some beach bars open in the summer months (May to September).

Cefalu / Lascari area
Cefalu is the younger sister that sits in the shadow of Taormina, just over an hour by train from Palermo, this coastal town is now one of the top spots on the Tyrrhenian coast. A wonderful place to spend a couple of days, experiencing the medieval streets, the historic sights and the limestone massif of “La Rocca” which dominates the town. Its origins go back to the 5th century when the Greeks established an early settlement. It was know as Kephalos, from the Greek for horse, after the rock above the town “La Rocca” which was supposed to have resembled a horse’s head. When the Arabs invaded in the 8th centaury many of it’s inhabitants fled to the sanctuary of the top of “La Rocca” The fortifications of which are still visible today and provide an unforgettable view of the town, the Madonie mountains behind and the coast to either side.

Further details indoors: Although basic furniture the villa is clean comfortable and typical style of a sea front property in Sicily.
The are all basic needs catered for as well as a great garden which is enclosed and safe for children to play inn. The added benefit of private access onto the white sand beach of lascari is a plus and older teenagers are safe to play and swim whilst adults can enjoy the outside space and perhaps a BBQ.
At the front of the property there is a shower outside that has hot and cold running water as in the summer it is easier to wash the sand away outside the property.
Further details outdoors: The garden is connected to the beach by a gate which is locked and secure.
The bottom of the garden has ocean views with the sound of the waves being a great sleep cure.
There is possibilities to enjoy outside dining under very large canopy brolly provided and also enjoy the sunshine for breakfast in the morning on the side small terrace.

Deposits of € 150.00 are taken on arrival and given back on departure. In August with local Italian families the area can be a busy and noisy residential area.
