Home description

This stunning and spacious apartment is located literally three minutes from the beach and two minutes from the centre of cefalu. Rustic and historic buildings surround the centre of cefalu. The apartment has lovely rustic features with amazing views of the sea and mountains. Located perfectly between the beach the centre and the port, there are numerous restaurants and coffee/ice cream bars ideal for families.

The Sicily region

Sicily is quickly becoming the most desirable location in the world to visit. Steeped in history and culture, the Island offers a fusion of both modern and historical Italy. The weather is warm between feb and March and between April onwards the temperatures continue to rise peaking in July and August. Cefalu is located directly next to the sea and is described by many as `the gem of Sicily'. The cobbled streets and amazing architecture give a truely wonderful experience. The nights in Cefalu take on a magical aura, with the best seafood Restaurants in Sicily.

Cefalu area

Cefalu has an abundance of activities including an aqua park, swimming pools and rock climbing. Just about every Restaurant in Cefalu delivers high quality mouth watering meals at very reasonable prices. The wines available in all restaurants are typical sicillian and must be tried. It is easy to hire push bikes, scooters or motorbikes to get around the local area or the Island in general. You will find all people both warm and helpful and very willing to speak English with you, Especially if you can say one or two words in Italian. Grazia -thanks

How to get there

RYANAIR FLY DIRECT FROM STANSTED TO PALERMO. EASYJET FLY FROM GATWICK TO PALERMO. ALITALIA FLY FROM UK VIA ROME OR MILAN. MOST MAJOR AIRPORTS WITHIN THE UK FLY TO PALERMO. MOST OF THE MAJOR CAR HIRE COMPANIES ARE AT PALERMO AIRPORT. (YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE).
THERE ARE NUMEROUS CABS OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT. TRANSPORTATION CAN BE ARRANGED TO COLLECT YOU FROM THE AIRPORT AND DROP YOU OFF, SHOULD YOU SO REQUIRE. (GENERALLY MUCH CHEAPER THAN AIRPORT CABS).

2 large bathrooms with showers and wc's. The entrance to the apartment is a small patio area which is lovely for sunbathing/ relaxing. It also has a small outdoor gazebo which sits nestled in the rocks overlooking the sea.

Further details

There is an English speaking person who will show you to the apartment and explain anything you need to know. The property is approached by large stone stairs. A contact number will be provided for any questions or problems and you can visit the office of the company who will assist you. They are based about a 6-7 minute walk from the apartment. There is a swimming pool and aqua park in Cefalu along with a stunning golf course around 3 miles from the apartment. The port area is a 3 minute walk and houses some lovely boats.

Conditions

A 50% deposit is required 4 weeks in advance to secure the property. A deposit of 100 euros is required as a refundable breakage allowance. This will be paid back within 1 week of you vacating and inspection has been carried out.

As parking is restricted in the area, it would be a good idea to arrange our collection and drop service from the airport and maybe hire a car from cefalu should you wish to visit the island.
