Apartment | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 3
La Medusa is a small, brand new studio, in the residence Calagrande. It has an open kitchen - double bed and a sofa bed.
In front is a big terrace with table, chairs, deck chairs, gas barbecue and at the back, but unfortunately along the railroad (not many trains and not really noisy) a small closed in patio.
The apartment is mostly suited for a couple, but 1 child could sleep on the sofa bed. From the living to the bathroom are a few steps so it isn't suited for people with walking trouble.
The apartment has free WI_FI , TV sat and air conditioning.
It is the best place to be if you don't want the use of a car, so no parking or traffic problems, there are bikes and electric bikes
if you don't want to walk, bus stop nearby to go downtown, but the walk along the seafront is about 20 minutes to the center and worthwhile.

The Sicily region
Sicily is a beautiful island, full of wild flowers (specially in may-june) and landscapes.
A holiday in Sicily is not only for sun and beaches but as well for hiking, biking, horse riding and various water sports.
And of course Sicily is known for its history , it has been conquered by Greek, Carthagenes, Romans, Arabs, Normans, Spaniards,
French and Italians who all put their stamp on the culture. You can meet Sicilians with blond or red hair and blu eyes, but as well
with very dark features. A month time is not enough to visit temples, amphi theaters, cathedrals and castles, but as Cefalù is along the motorway Palermo- Messina it is easy to make daily trips all over the island.
Cefalù is a medieval town, full of small streets and a beautiful Cathedral, built by the Norman King Roger II in 1180.
You can enjoy, the good and tasty food in the various restaurants with terraces, either on the rocks or in de streets,
a good day in the sun on the beach or walk on the rock to see the old temple of Diana.
Cefalù is part of a Nature Park Le Madonie where you can hike and bike and admire the rare fauna and flora.
We even organize quad excursions which go through this park.
Come and enjoy sun, sea and a sandy beach in Cefalu in the CALAGRANDE
Each apartment has its own terrace where you can enjoy your meals . Enjoy a swim in the plunge pool at the centre of the complex and become a lounge-lizard soaking up the sun alongside the pool. If you prefer to swim at the beach it's only a five minutes walk. After that you can stroll along the boulevard to the supermarket or walk into the old town where you can shop to your hearts content in the tiny fashionable boutiques. At the heart of the old town is Cathedral Square where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or treat the kids to the most delicious ice-cream in town and just watch the world go by. The old part of town has a lot of tiny baker's fishmonge'rs and butcher's and you can buy fruit a veg from the stalls that sell local produce. If you're looking for presents to take back home there are a couple of very good ceramic shops there too. In the evenings you can eat freshly caught fish at one of the many restaurants in the old town that have terraces overlooking the sea. For the wine-tasters there is a bar dedicated to just that, and there are a couple of pubs serving high-quality Belgian beer on tap.
Cefalu is still unspoilt and you soon get into the laid-back rhythm of everyday life where even the local cats lie out on the roofs and don't move a muscle during siesta. Let the clock stand still for you too, come and relax and watch the beautiful sunsets over the sea, you won't regret it.
