About the home

Located close to unspoiled, white sandy beaches and the historic centre of Cefalu, this property offers a tranquil location with spectacular ocean and mountain views from each apartment's private terrace. Relax by the swimming pool or take advantage of the nearby fitness centre. Bar-B-Que in the outdoor kitchen and dine alfresco on one of the covered patio sets, or in the privacy of your own, ocean-view balcony.

The Santa Barbara Residence is located about 1 km from the city centre - a ten min. walk - or, take the bus from a nearby stop. Visit Cefalu's famous Cathedral and view some of the finest mosaics in the western world. Climb to the ancient fortifications that span 'La Roca' and take in the views from the top, which Frommer's sites as some of the best in Sicily. Relax in the piazza del duomo, the central meeting point for locals and visitors alike. Sit in one of the charming outdoor cafes and meet people from the world over.

Cefalu offers plenty of exceptional dining in its many restaurants as well as a variety of nightlife in the bars, cafes and discos. Stroll the city's narrow cobble stone streets and shop in the fabulous boutiques or take an afternoon to visit the Parco della Madonnie and its beautiful medieval towns.

All apartments are equipped with TV and air conditioning. Plenty of safe parking is available. We are family and pet friendly. The property can accommodate parties of one to six in various living quarter arrangements.

The Cefalu area

Cefalu is a charming, Medieval city perched on the Tyrrhenian coast. Blessed with white sandy beaches, narrow cobbled streets, an acclaimed museum (housing Antonello da Messina’s masterpiece, Portrait of an Unknown Man) , and an awe inspiring Romanesque cathedral, Cefalu is not to be missed. The stunning mosaics which adorn the city’s cathedral were completed in 1148 and are both the oldest Byzantine-Norman mosaics in Sicily as well as some of the finest in the world. The town was captured in the Oscar winning film, ’Cinema Paradiso’.
Cefalu is located within the boundaries of the Parco Delle Madonnie, a 40,000 hectare nature reserve containing splendid mountain landscapes, ancient villages and numerous hiking trails. The Park is a ‘botanic paradise’ possessing more than half of the 2600 species known to Sicily within its confines.
Cefalu is a perfect base for exploring the island’s most important sites, such as Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples, Syracuse and Monreal’s famed cathedral. Lying 80 km East of Palermo, with abundant train and bus service between the two cities, Cefalu is a convenient, historic and relaxing vacation destination for the discriminating international traveler.

go out at the junction CEFALU and from there following indication Centre and call the key holder.
from palermo airport you can get Train and buses until Palermo central station from there every hour train to Cefalu..the last train from Palermo central station to Cefalu is at the 20:45 -so If you think to arrive late than this time , we organize airport pick up ask for more information.
