About the home

The apartments Palme, spacious and comfortable, allow people of large groups to stay close to each other while keeping their own privacy. Located inside a Residence just in front of the sea, each apartment (all the same and equally furnished) is completely independent and is provided with all the necessary to enjoy your holiday in complete autonomy and relax, including Air Conditioning and internet WI-FI! Within the residence you will find, during the summer, many services such as bar, soccer field, private beach, swimming pool, animation team...

The accommodations are either on the ground floor and on the first floor (one next to the other) and benefit of a spacious veranda surrounded by plants or of a terrace with view.

The location is ideal for who is interested on visiting Sicily as the motorway junction "Buonfornello" (directions Palermo/Trapani, Catania/Enna/Caltanissetta/Agrigento, Messina) from where is possible to reach all destinations in reasonable times, is just 1 km far from the apartments! Also, it is possible to reach Cefalù in less than 15 minutes!

All apartments are fully furnished and each offers up to 5 sleeping places (4 adults + 1 in a cot). Each apartment has an equipped kitchen, a nice living room and a spacious veranda (Ground Floor Unit) or a terrace (First Floor Unit) which will make you feel like at home while reading a book or simply chilling out with your friends and family. There is also a space in front of the veranda and terrace where you can also take a sun bath, unless you want to enjoy the swimming pool area or the near beach (public and private).

There is also a space in front of the veranda where you can also take a sun bath, unless you want to enjoy the swimming pool area or the near beach (public and private).
The public beach is mixed sandy and pebbly while the private beach is mainly sandy and equipped with umbrellas and sun chairs. You have direct access to the beach, which is just about 3 minutes walking from the apartments.
There are some little shops within the residence and a mini market. The bigger supermarkets and the town center are about 3 Km from the residence.

Further details outdoors:
The public beach is mixed sandy and pebbly while the private beach is mainly sandy and equipped with umbrellas and sun chairs. You have direct access to the beach, which is just about 3 minutes walking from the apartments.
There are some little shops within the residence and a mini market. The bigger supermarkets and the town center are about 3 Km from the residence.
The parking is just in front of the apartments.

The Internet access is WI-FI and is included in the rate.

The use of the swimming pool, the private beach and the sports ground is NOT included in the price and is NOT mandatory. However, it is possible to buy a weekly pass for the pool and the private beach. Please see the rates section for more information and rates.

The parking is inside the residence, just in front of the apartments, and it's safe.

Conditions

The changeover day is SATURDAY during the High and Peak seasons. In other periods it is flexible.

The check-in is possible after 2-3 pm. The check-out must be not later than 10 am.

Discounts are considered for long term rentals. Short term rentals (less than 1 week) are possible during the low-mid season but not in the high season (you are welcome to stay less than a week but the full weekly rate will be applied).
In the high season the minimum stay is 1 week and only full weeks are rented. Some exeptions such as 12-13 days can be considered but NOT for 8-9 days (in this case the full weekly rate will be applied). Please enquire for full information.

Please note that, to avoid confusion, the pictures are showing the interior of only one of the apartments, however ALL APARTMENTS' INTERIOR, either the ground floor's and the first floor's, ARE EXACTLY THE SAME (layout, furniture, colors, ect.). Depending on the unit available they might be just 'mirrored' (rooms and furniture placed on the opposite side of the one shown in the pictures).

Ground Floor - Veranda

The Sicily region

Campofelice Di Roccella is located just at the center of the northern coast of Sicily, on the Tyrrhenian Sea about 50 km east from Palermo and 12 km west of Cefalu.
Supermarkets, shops and all amenities can be found in the town center.
Also, a brand new 18 holes Golf Course is just 5 minutes away from the apartment!
The town is a very good starting point if you wish to visit the natural Park of the Madonies which is just surrounding the area and also to visit the rest of Sicily as the town is well connected to the main motorway and railway.
The train station, located near the beachside serves the town with trains to Palermo and Cefalù (and Messina).

Cefalu, one of the major tourist attractions in the region, is just 10 minutes drive and 15 minutes by train/bus.
Every year it attracts millions of tourists from all parts of Sicily and also, from all over Italy and Europe. In summer the population can triple, making the main streets full of life and lively nightlife.
The villages around are a unique combination of small Italian towns that stand out among others for artistic, cultural and historic reasons.

The Cefalu area

All the small towns within the Park of the Madonies are worth a visit for their typical style and food.
Cefalù is a must, rich of monuments and much touristic orientated. There is also a Ice Cream festival in Cefalù in September.
Campofelice Di Roccella, the nearest town, offers open shows almost every evening during the summer and some fairs, religious and not, throughout the year.
The archeological site of Himera, a greek city, is just 1 Km from the apartments. There you will also find a museum and the ruins of the greek temple.

Low cost airlines serving Palermo and Trapani airports are Ryan Air and Easy Jet. Other companies serves Catania airport which is about 150Km far from the apartments.
You can also take the ferry to Palermo with "Tirrenia", "Grandi Navi Veloci".
It's very easy to arrive from the airport as the road is all straight and on a motorway, from any of the airports!

“Won't be back” I stayed in Apartment 112 in late September early October 2012. It was reasonably well equipped for cooking etc, the shower and bathroom are OK and it is well decorated. “Ok but noisy and appartment needs air-con, pool in hotel was nice” The appartment was ok, but very noisy and needs air-con if you have a young family. The pool in the hotel was nice with lots of fun entertainment. The appartment would have benefited with some information about the local area and some guidance as no-one available to help and no local guide in the appartment. The local beach is not suitable for a family with young children. Bathroom was basic and at times no hot water. Campofelice was lovely for ice cream and drinks. Cefalu was beautiful with great beaches, restaurants and culture. Response: Thank you for your review, I'm glad you had a good time and liked the apartment. I just would like to precise that the air conditioning has just been installed after yours and others' suggestions so future guests will benefit from it. A "House guidelines" multilanguage leaflet which contains also information about the area is provided in all apartments... We didn't notice it was missing in your apartment, sorry. With regards to the hot water in the bathroom, this comes from a electric boiler so when all the hot water is used it just needs some minutes to warm up again. The beach might be more or less pebbly, that's depending on how the sea "behaves" during the cold months. This year it was probably more pebbly than usual. It's true that during the period of your stay the residence might have been a bit noisy but that's quite normal for any residence in the middle of August which is the peak of the season. I can assure that during the other periods is very calm. The other reviews can confirm this.

“Fantastic apartment. Great service. Would definately recommend.” Although it was difficult to find. When we arrived Enrico was very helpful. The accomodation was exactly as described. The hotel was not very busy as off season, but we felt safe and had all we needed. Located close to the motoways, easy access to Cefalu and surrounding area. The pool was open, which the children enjoyed. It was very clean and suited our family's needs. Beautiful setting, access to a stony beach, which in warmer weather would be great. Helpful information given by the owner and smooth check in and check out. As it was off season a little quiet but very much suited us and we toured around Sicily returning to a home from home. Thank you to Enrico for his hospitality and kindness.Also to Paolo for orgainising our rental in advance and his useful information prior our trip..

The rates are for one apartment and are the same from 1 to 5 people (4 adults + 1 infant).

A 30% of the rental price will be asked to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via Bank Transfer (no surcharge) or Credit Card (via Paypal with a 3.5% surcharge).

All charges, including final cleanings and provision of bed linen and towels, are INCLUDED.

For rentals shorter than 5 days (off season) a charge of 50 euros is applied over the normal rental price.

In order to keep the rental rates competitive, the use of the residence services (swimming pool, private beach, sports ground, animation team) has not been included as a mandatory charge so people can choose either to use them or not. For those who are interested on using them, it is possible to buy weekly passes directly from the owner, on the place, at a discounted rate of 45€/person.
