About the home

Sunset Villa is located in a private residence minutes' walk from the beaches. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes ( by car ) from the famous medieval city of Cefalu. The villa has easy access to all amenities, by car, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The villa benefits from its pools, for adult and children. There is a spacious garden with stunning sea views, furnished with tables and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With three double ensuite bathroom and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

From ancient Roman Baths to the more recent ceramics is one of the most intersting sites of Sicily.
Nearby: Golf course, aquapark, tennis courts, Cefalu port with daily connections with Aeolian Islands, ceramic factories, bike and motorbike hire, watersports.

56 Miles (90km ) from Palermo international airport 'Falcone and Borsellino'. Ryanair and Easyjet fly daily to Palermo from London Stansted and London Gatwick. Other flight companies are also landing directly at Palermo airport, from many major cities like Paris, Barcelona, Moscow, Munich and Stuttgart. Another Airport is Trapani Birgi airport 150 km from Cefalu.
British Airwais fly to Catania airport 110 miles (173 Km).
When arrived in Palermo or Trapani international airport follow directions towards Palermo and take the motorway Palermo-Catania. Follow directions for Messina, Exit Cefalu. The most popular car hire companies are avilable at Palermo Airport. *News*: From April 2013 Rayanair is flying to Trapani also from Bratislava, Goteborg, Kaunas, Lubecca, Manchester, Rzeszow e Varsavia.

“Great property to explore Sicily” A great property to relax and unwind right next to the beach, Cefalu with all amenities, bars, restuarants etc 2 mins by car, easy access to the motorway to give you access to the rest of Sicily....we drove around 1700km in 6 days exploring from Palermo, to Taromina (which is stunning) past Monte Etna, Agrigento etc etc....the house has plenty of space, we had four older adults and 4 young adults 18-21 years old, the gardens are lovely, even had a bbq on new years eve. The owners also use the property so it feels very homely and the welcome pack was a nice suprise. Many thanks for all of your attention Carmello and Antonella, we would definetely recommend this property and would return to Sicily. I expect Autumn and Spring would be great times to visit.

“Best of Sicily” We enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Oleandro in summer 2012. The kids (3 kids, age 11 to 17) loved it and for the parents it was like paradise, too. The villa has all the infrastructure needed to make life comfortable. Beach and swimming pool are very close (3 minutes walking distance) and the romantic city of Cefalu can be reached in 5 minutes by car, too. The biggest asset for us was the wonderful garden; in the morning it is a perfect place to start the day with a rich breakfast, in the evening you can enjoy the sunset over the sea and spend endless hours in a green and splendid environment. that's how life and/or holidays are meant to be...
