The South Australia region

Ceduna is situated on Eyre Peninsula and is the last town before crossing the Nullabor. With around 3500 people we boast great shopping facilities with two supermarkets in the area, newsagents, dress shops, electrical and electronic outlets, several takeaway food stores and a "state of the art" Hotel in the prime position on the sea front of Murat Bay.

Ceduna and surrounding areas are great for surfing, fishing, swimming, picnics in the bush, beach BBQs and in general a relaxing atmosphere. It is also a great place to begin the trip to the Head of the Bight to view Southern Right Whales close-up from the viewing platforms. This is area is 300 km from Ceduna on a good bitumen road all the way in to the facility. People can choose to make the trip in one day or stay overnight at Nullabor Station only 15 km from the entrance to Head of the Bight.
