Cloud 9 is a large 2 storey apartment, ideally situated a stone's throw from the twin villages of Kingsand/Cawsand. The accommodation comprises 2 large bedrooms and a large family bathroom on the ground floor with sumptuous underfloor heating. The first floor has a spacious open plan living room/dining area with conservatory overlooking the rolling hills of Maker, the village of Kingsand and out to sea. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and separate WC on this level, with access to a private decked area for relaxing in the sunshine or dining alfresco. Every effort has been made to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible with large reclining sofas in which to relax and enjoy the views and a large television with Sky TV. A brief stroll of 5 minutes takes you down into the villages of Kingsand/Cawsand with their excellent selection of pubs and cafes, beaches and rock-pools. The property provides the ideal location from which to explore the beautiful Rame Peninsula via the meandering coastal paths to the secluded beaches of Whitsand Bay and Mount Edgcumbe House with it's beautiful gardens, disc-golf and even Segway hire.

The stunning sands of Whitsand bay, popular with surfers/swimmers/divers/SUP boarders and sun-bathers is a 2 minute hop away in the car or a 30 minute walk over the hill.
The challenging but scenic Whitsand Bay golf course is just a 10-minute drive away. We have a set of golf clubs also available on request for a small fee.
Dry-ski slope ski-ing and snow-tubing available at Plymouth Ski-Centre, just a 30 minute drive.

Nearest airport is Newquay at approx 40 mins drive or Exeter airport 1 hour's drive.
Nearest port is Plymouth at approx 40 minutes drive.
Nearest train station is St Germans, approx 15min drive. We can arrange pick-ups!
5 mins walk from Kingsand/Cawand. Millbrook 1 mile. Torpoint and chain ferry 15 mins. The Eden Project 40 mins by road.
Mac's village shop (3 minute stroll) provides basic provisions. Great choice of friendly local pubs offering excellent food, fresh fish, live-music and local ales. Millbrook (1 mile) offers further shops, cafe and pub. The local ferry to Plymouth from Cawsand beach (seasonal) makes for a lovely day-out to the trendy Barbican district with it's huge selection of cafes, restauraunts, marinas, National Marine Aquarium, cinema, bowling complex and shopping centre. Several local NT properties, including, Mount Edgecombe, Anthony, Buckland Abbey, Llanhydrock. Sandy beaches, both in the village and at Whitsand Bay. Kayaks available to hire from Cawsand beach and surf hire/lessons at Whitsand as well as SUP hire/lessons. South Cornwall coast path runs through village and walking is truly fantastic in this area with many circular routes encompassing the beauty of the Rame Peninsula. Owner happy to provide any information as required. Further afield you can enjoy a day out at the Eden Project, hire bicycles at the Camel Trail, have a pastie at Padstow or surf at Newquay, all under an hours drive away!
