It really is a Petit Paradis as the villa is in a tranquil setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens, a private swimming pool and amazing views across the Mediteranean. The villa is decorated to a very high standard and has some wonderful original art throughout. The furniture is of a very high standard and the kitchen is brand new with all mod cons. The bedrooms all have a sea view and are extremely spacious.

Further details outdoors

The view to the sea from Le Petit Paradis is wonderul - and with sunbathing and swimming around the private pool it is a real treat.

The property is pristine and we adopt a 'Leave it as You find it ' approach.

The French Riviera - Cote d'Azur region

Le Petit Paradis villa is situated a kilometere from the beach with fabulous sea views. In a wonderful location, this modern open plan spacious villa has stunning panoramic views over the Meditteranean in Cavaliere, Le Lavandou. Cavaliere has a long sandy beach with shops, bars, restaurants and a variety of water sports including jet skiing, water skiing, sailing , wind surfing and parasailing. Close by there is a tennis club, boules, driving range and a golf course approx 8 miles away. A cycle track along the old coastal railway line runs through the village to Le Lavandou is 7kms to the west and Rayl Canadel 3 kms to the east. Le Lavandou has a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars and shops and big marina - with many boat trips to the Iles d'Hyeres 45 minutes away. St Tropez is 30km to the east.

The very name of Le Lavandou evokes the idea of scent and flowers and spring is a fine time to visit here, especially in March, when the villagers celebrate their town with a carnival of flowers. The name does not derive from “lavender” as is often thought, since the lavender species indigenous here is called queirélé, and the inhabitants would have spoken only Provencal until about 60 years ago and not known the word “lavande”..It seems more likely the name comes from “lavoir” – the place where the women traditionally washed the linen.

The quai side promenade Gabriel Peri has colourful cafes, a boules court, and a grand villa, now a restaurant, which was built in the 19th century by a herbalist from Toulon who used to search for medicinal plants in the surrounding maquis. Beyond the quai the old village rises up several steep streets lined with craft shops and cafes, beyond which are resort hotels and villas. The main square is named after composer and music critic, Ernest Reyer, and opens onto the promenade which fronts the main beach.

Le Lavandou boasts twelve beaches strung out along the Corniche des Maures to the east. Development has been restricted here and there are several beautiful pine-shaded coves, each of them with different coloured sand. Each has a variety of different facilities, with watersports from wind-surfing and fishing to diving and canoeing, and nudist beaches at Rossignol and Le Layet. There is a beach train all the way from the port to Cap Negre and Pramousquier, both key points for the 1944 Allied Landings

We stayed at Petit Paradise in May this year, it was our second visit within 12 months!
A little paradise is exactly what it is. We travelled with friends and had a lovely relaxing holiday. The views are spectacular.
The villa exceeds all expectations, it is fully equipped, beautifully furnished and spacious. The terrace and pool area is perfect for BBQs and chilling out.
The quiet location is in easy walking distance to the beach and shops.

We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

"Wonderful Spot"

We were a family of 6 staying at Le Petit Paradis in off season. Although it is a perfectly central location to travel the south of France/Riviera, the area was "essentially closed". Limited choices to dine or shop the end of November, but certainly enticeing enough to want to come back in mid- May before summer mahiem.
The house itself was open plan and lived up to the photos, vistas wonderful, grounds well maintained.. A lovely relaxing spot !

"Beautiful, peaceful - a corner of paradise"

We have stayed at Le Petit Paradis twice, each time with extended family aged from 15 to 85 and all agree it is perfect. The position of the house allows spectacular views of trees and sea from terrace and swimming pool - gorgeous in the day or moonlit evening. A short walk via a woodland road arrives at the beach/cafes and a brief car trip (or a coastal walk) gets to the stylish town of Le Lavandou with its shops and restaurants. Equally, lunch or dinner on the terrace is perfect too. We relax from the moment we arrive and intend to visit frequently as possible. Highly recommended.
