The owners have tastefully developed the property, uncovering and retaining many of the original features making this a really comfortable but stylish one bedroom gites
The open kitchen is fully equipped with gas hobs and oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a washing machine. There is also a dining table if you want to escape the sunshine over meal times
The kitchen opens onto the living room where you will find a double convertible sofa bed, a chest of drawers, a coffee table, a desk and two armchairs. There is also a separate WC.
There are two French windows opening onto the terrace (with a pergola) where you can also use the garden furniture and take advantage of the beautiful grounds
Up the old stone staircase you will find a bedroom with two twin beds and a built-in closet, an en suite bathroom with a washbasin, and a bath.
There is plenty of private parking available and all bed linen, towels and sheets are included in the price

Avignon, with all its history (Pont St Bénézet, Palais des Papes), the Festival de Théâtre in July, and numerous museums
The spectacular Les Alpilles chain of hills is just a 30 minute drive, St Rémy de Provence, Mouriès, Maussane, les Baux de Provence...
L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is less than ten minutes away, famous for the Antiques village and Sunday market
La Route des Vins, "the wine road" (Gigondas and "les Dentelles de Montmirail", Séguret,Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf du Pape) is also easily accessible
If its nature you're after, La Camargue National Park is an hour drive from here where you can find beaches and the traditional town of St Maries de la Mer
Cavaillon area
Cavaillon is very close to Avignon and on the doorstep of the Luberon National Park.
There are great local markets throughout the region, and a wealth of great places to visit
Cavaillon is a good sized town with all the facilities and amenities you need, as well as having its own large and very colourful Provencal market every Monday morning

By Car - Cavaillon is easily accessed from the main A7 Autoroute de Soleil, just 5 minutes away
By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away. Nice is about two hours drive along the autoroute
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away
