Case De Vida Nova is situated just outside Castro Marim, 5 minutes from some of Algarve's amazing beaches. The resorts Monte Gordo and Vila Real are only a 10 minute drive away. The interior of the villa is furnished to the highest standard, 4 large bedrooms and spacious one bedroom self contained apartment spread over 4 floors. Every floor has a luxurious bathroom.
There are four terraces and a decking area to enjoy alfresco dining and soak up the Portuguese sun. The sizeable open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen lends itself to sociable living. The lounge has a 42' LCD TV, with full sky package and wifi. The spacious fully equipped kitchen has two ovens and five ring gas hob, large American fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

One of the many impressive features of Case De Vida Nova is the seclusion of the dining and swimming pool area. Whilst dining al-fresco you will enjoy the privacy of the terrace and pool area provide. On the terrace outside the kitchen/lounge, is a BBQ, table and chairs to cater for 12. The decking area around the pool is ideal for sunbathing with a selection of loungers provided. Leading on from the pool is a shaded area with a full size table tennis table and seating. At the front of the villa is space to park four cars.

We would prefer not to charge you for air-conditioning, therefore we have allowed a certain level of usage. The meter will be read on arrival and departure in your presence, any excessive use will be charged and deducted from your refundable damage bond.
If you require the pool heated there is a charge of £100 per week. If the pool cover is put on every evening in the warmer months generally the pool stays warm.

The closest town Castro Marim has a few restaurants, bars, bakers, supermarket, banks, post office and a historic castle.
Monte Gordo, a 10 minute drive away, is a busy resort which lies on the beach front. It has many good restaurants and bars. Also it is a good place to explore the shops for gifts and clothes.
Vila Real, a 10 minute drive away is a more traditional town which lies on the river Guadiana, with a picturesque marina, and again with many good restaurants and bars. It has a lovely square, lined with pretty orange trees and seating areas. It is known for its linen shops, which people come from far and wide to buy linen and towels.
The entire area is full of nature reserves and natural pine forests. North of Castro Marim is an area of outstanding natural beauty alongside the Guadiana river, past the great dams of Beliche and Ideleite and on up to Alcoutim.
The Castro Marim / Quinta do Sobral area
The area of Castro Marim lies on the border of Spain, therefore many of Spain's quaint towns, including the nearest Ayamonte, are easily accessible.
The area has many beautiful beaches, one of the most favoured ones 'Praia de Verde' has two great restaurants that continually get brilliant reviews. The first is 'Panoramica' and the second 'Feet in the Sand', where you can watch the sun go down over the sea as you eat.

We were lucky enough to spend a week at the villa, there were 10 of us, 4 Adults and 6 children from 4 to 16 years of age. The villa was perfect for our needs, it feels like a home away from home. There was more than enough space for us all, the bedrooms are huge and the living area and kitchen are fantastic with everything provided, there are more than enough bathrooms with both baths and showers. The apartment on the lower floor boasts an additional kitchen and living area with a huge bedroom and bathroom. We arrived on Sunday, after getting lost and Les the property manager very kindly tried to find us, Linda (Les' wife) showed us around the villa and gave us the heads up on where to eat locally and places of local interest. There was a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, eggs etc.. and importantly beer and wine, perfect after a long drive around the Algarve (dodgy Sat Nav) The villa is spotless with fantastic verandas and outside eating areas, we opted for the pool to be heated for a small charge, Les maintains it every few days. The children adored having a private pool, as did the adults just to cool off. We found the villa to be very private with only one house next door being occupied, it has views over fields habited by a family of pigs, although we did not see the three legged one Les told us about! When the children had enough of the pool they could chill out reading, playing the board games provided, the chess board was well utilised along with the playstation and watching television, they loved that there was the full HD Sky package. There is WiFi however you will need to take a laptop as it is provided via a dongle. The local area has excellent little local restaurants which are so cheap, we struggled to spend money, when not eating out we used the brand new BBQ to cook locally caught fish which was sold from the back of a van in the nearest town Castro Marim, which also has a great supermarket which sold wonderful fresh breads. The beach is only a five min drive and also has some great restaurants. We are without doubt going to book again next year, for a wonderful relaxing break in what truely is a fantastic villa. |

The balance of the rental, together with £300 refundable damages deposit, payable 8 weeks prior to the date the holiday commences.
