Middle cottage of a row of 3 cottages set in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the picturesque village of Castletownshend which is on the south western shore of Ireland.
Upstairs bedroom 1 with a double and a single bed, bedroom 2 with a double bed. Bathroom with bath tub, shower, wc and hand basin.
Downstairs Living room with open fire, fully fitted kitchen/diner, bedroom 3 with a single bed and shower room en suite. Private enclosed garden to rear.
Tenants have the use of The Castle grounds close to the cottage. Here we have a small stony beach from where we launch kayaks and rowing boats all for hire.
A few minutes walk is Mary Ann's bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a pint or sample their delightful menu.
It is just over an hour to Cork International airport.
Many beautiful places to visit in Cork and Kerry. The scenery and coastal areas are beautiful.
Shop in one of the supermarkets in the local market town of Skibbereen where there is also a farmers market every Saturday.
Suitable for couples, families etc.
Fishing, whale and dophin watching, islands to visit, kayaking, golf, horse riding are all in the vicinity.

The Province of Munster region
County Cork is the largest County in Ireland. The city of Cork stands on the river Lee. Once you are out of Cork city there are only towns and villages, all very pretty and selling plenty of local produce. The bars and restaurants are cosy and friendly. The scenery is beautiful. There are several golf courses, the slosest of which is the 18 hole course near Skibbereen. The coastline is indented and full of interesting and picturesque inlets and harbours.
This is sparsley populated with many small roads and coastal routes. The scenery is beautiful and the people are very friendly.
