We have stayed here both in Spring and Summer and the house is cosy in the cold weather due to a lovely log fire and great in the summer too with a sun trap of a garden. The kitchen is very well equipped - love the american style fridge/freezer - which made cooking a breeze. The first time we stayed there were just four of us and we didn't rattle around. The second time there were nine of us and we didn't feeled squashed in either. Despite being a small village it had plenty to do within walking distance, including a pebble beach and rockpools and a playground for the children. For the rest of us there was also Mary Ann's - a pub/restaurant with excellent food. There is a small sandy beach only three minutes drive away which was never overcrowded. We have many happy memories of both holidays and I'm sure we'll be back. |
