It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining area with an open fire and all the modern conveniences.Upstairs there are three bedrooms,one double room en-suite with electric shower,one twin room with double and single bed and one smaller room with double bed.The main bathroom is upstairs and there is a w.c.downstairs.

Conditions
Electricity charge,summer time six euro per day and winter time eight euro per day. Refundable breakages deposit of one hundred euro on arrival to be refunded subject to satisfactory property inspection.

The Castletownbere / Ardgroom area
The charming village of Ardgroom with its brightly painted houses and beautiful flowering hanging baskets and window boxes is a great location for touring the Cork and Kerry regions.A minutes walk from the holiday home is a local shop/cafe,church,restaurent/pub. Ardgroom is within easy reach of many archaeoligical sites,Dunboy castle,Derreen Gardens,Gleninchaquin Waterfall,Ardgroom Stone circle and the Hag of Beara.The town of Castletownbere is well known for its fishing and you can see the boats as you take a walk along the pier.Here you can get the car ferry to Bere Island and stroll through the island at your leisure.Take a drive to the beautiful town of Glengariff home to world famous actress Maureen O Hara and dont miss the tour to Garnish Island to see the magnificent gardens.Within easy reach is the quaint town of Kenmare full of character and colour,with some of the best restaurents in Ireland.

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing break when we stayed for one week on 30th April, 2011. We found it was close to all the amenities and to the spectacular scenery in the area with a beautiful coastline. A car would be essential. Ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and sight-seeing. It was very easy to get to. The house was in exceptional condition, very spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We would be more than happy to recommend this property and would be happy to return. We found the holiday most relaxing |

Stayed here for a week in August. The house is immaculate with all mod conc. Very comfortable. Just what the doctor ordered. The whole area is stunningly beautiful. Enjoyed the walking and the drives. Will be back! |
