"Lovely!"

We absolutely loved our stay at Little Lilac Cottage. It is so homely and cosy inside and in a brilliant location with a shop next door and lots of pubs/restaurants within a few minutes walk. Castleto… More

Thank you for your kind comments. The fire has high wattage and throws out a lot of heat and with the very thick walls in the cottage it heats the lounge up really quickly. It is maintained, inspected and annually certified by British Gas so is perfectly safe. There is also a Carbon Monoxide detector in the lounge. Its probably wiser to turn in down a little and then you wont over heat which will lead to a headache.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Little Lilac again very soon, Noorea x

"Our Seventh Visit In Two Years!"

Little Lilac Is a real home from home for us. We have stayed in all seasons and enjoyed the experience in this gorgeous old cottage.
We love the new choice of colour outside but must say we miss the AGA although the new oven is beautiful and very easy to use.
Cosy as always..........wonderful as ever :)

Thank you for your kind review. I also miss the Aga but so many guests prefer a cooker!
Thank you for booking again!! Look forward to seeing you very soon.

We had a fantastic time in a superb cottage in a superb location we could not say anything negative about it spotlessly clean and the star of the show is the bedroom what can we say have never slept in a bed like it . We have re booked the cottage already for next year absolutely first class.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I hope all the work we are doing at the moment will leave you even happier on your next visit ! New roof and a lovely Gas Oven as the Aga has a new home now ! Best Wishes, Noorea :)

"Beautiful cottage, full of character"

Little Lilac did not only reach our expectations, it exceeded them.
What a beautiful cottage it is, romantic, warm, homely and full of character, and just like the photographs really wonderful.
I booked this as a surprise weekend for my partners birthday. His birthday lasted all weekend and was spent relaxing, walking with the occasional sampling of the alcoholic delights in the local pubs!!!.... plus an excellent cream tea, all within a short walk from Little Lilac.
The cottage is superbly equipped and Noorea was very helpful from the time of booking right up to my questions just a week prior to our stay.
I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at this cottage, and have already booked for his birthday again in 2014....

Thank you so much for your review and I look forward to welcoming you back to Little Lilac in 2014 !! Noorea xxx
