With its own small terraced garden to the front, it boasts heavy open beams and beautiful furnishings, including a huge antique brass bed and Victorian-style bathroom. The cottage comes with its own hard standing driveway for ease of parking. The caves are a five minute walk away as is the traditional High Street with its handfull of quaint shops and cute tea rooms. Castleton is famous for its Christmas Decorations when the village comes to twinkleing life! Packed with real Christmas trees and carol singers. A real must for an old fashioned yuletide.

Castleton area
Castleton has a wealth of things to keep you occupied such as the historic Perivil Castle built by William the Conqueror, which from its keep affords exceptional views over the village and surrounding countryside. A short drive through the Hope Valley and you will find yourself at the Derwent and Ladywell Reservoirs the former being the reservoir that the famous RAF “Dam Busters” practiced during World War II.
