The County Londonderry region
This is in one of the most beautiful parts of Northern Ireland, trapped between low undulating mountains and the majestic Irish Sea. If beaches are your thing, then Castlerock has one of the most unspoilt on the coast. If it's the longest beach in Ireland you want, then drive or walk the mile to Downhill Strand, 7 miles of golden sands without interruption.
Local butchers, bakers, hairdressers, cafe, general shop, off license, chippy and several pubs all within a 10 minute leisurely walk.

Thanks for the positive review of my holiday home. I'm glad things worked out for all of you and there was enough space for 6 adults.
And if I could guarantee the sun, I would be living there myself..

Thanks Chris for the great review. We all take things with us when we go on holiday then leave them behind, so in my opinion its better that someone else gets the benefits rather than putting in the bin. And check out White Park Bay next time for the surfing, it's as good as we get on the north coast. Cheers, Keith.

"Everything we expected and more."
Just back from Yellow Cottage a couple of weeks. Really enjoyed our week there. The location is excellent as was the size of the house. We originally thought it would be hard to book somewhere that would allow us to bring our boxer dog for her holiday too but Keith was so accomodating and allowed her to come as well. We all had a fabulous time on the beachs which are second to none and even the weather improved. Would with out a doubt stay here again. Thanks Glyn.
Thanks Glyn, it was just a shame about the weather but I'm glad everything worked out for you. See you next year hopefully.
