The County Derry region
County Derry and especially Castlerock area are steeped in history and places of interest.All within easy reach some on foot and some a short drive are Mussenden Temple, Hezlett House, Benone Strand, Giants Causeway Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, and Carrick-a- Rede rope bridge to name but a few. There are also world renowned Championship golf courses and in fact Castlerock Golf Course is within walking distance from the house.
Castlerock area
Castlerock is a quiet, unspoilt sea-side village, ideal for relaxing family holidays beside the sea. It is a sea-side village situated on the North Coast of Ireland in an area of outstanding natural beauty with many scenic walks locally. It is ten minutes drive from the excellent shopping of Coleraine and the world renowned Antrim Coastline and Giants Causeway is a short drive away.
A short drive in the opposite direction will take you to the Donegal ferry at Magilligan point, the short ferry crossing to Greencastle in Donegal makes for a great day out exploring the Inishowen Peninsula.
