The County Derry region
Lying west of Castlerock toward Londonderry, there are numerous areas of outstanding beauty, beaches, mountians and forests as well as historical properties, scenic drives, walks and look out points to explore, with many activities along the way. The City of Londonderry itself is steeped in history, a 17th century walled city, which withstood several seiges, one lasting 105 days. Daily walking tours of the walls take place all year round. As a modern day city it has alot to offer including great shopping and an unrivalled historical and cultural experience. East of Castlerock lies the busy shopping town of Coleraine. Portstewart and Portrush are other popular seaside villages. Bushmills Distillery, the Giants Causeway and on to Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. So there is also lots to explore in this direction .
Castlerock area
Castlerock is a small quiet seaside village, with a beautiful sandy beach and a championship 18 hole golf course. Lying west of the river Bann with views of the hills of Donegal, an ideal base for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and exploring the north coast. The village offers a small range of shops including a butchers and bakery with a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. There is also tennis courts and a bowling green. on Entering Castlerock there is the National Trust Property Hazlett House, a thatched property dating back to 1690, one of the oldest buildings in Northern Ireland. Wthin 10 Kms there is Mussenden Temple, The Bishops Gate, Downhill Forest, Downhill and Benone Beach and Leisure Park, horse riding, pottery studios offering activities, the ferry to Greencastle, Co. Donegall and the busy shopping town of Coleraine.

This is stricly a non - smoking facility The owners of the property cannot be held responsible for damage to person or property and adequate insurance is recommended. Unfortunately we do not accept pets The apartment must not be occupied by more than the number of people confirmed at booking A £100 Deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid on arrival. A £75 deposit for breakages is also required on arrival, this wiil be refunded (within a week of departure) if no breakages or damages occur and the apartment is left in the condition it was found. An inventory will be taken after departure, to access any damages or missing items and the deposit will be refunded with in a week accordingly. Cancellation - If cancellation occurs the deposit will be lost.
