Thank you for your review. You are correct, the house and the village are perfectly located for a wide range of holidays. We do spring clean the house twice a year but we take on board your comments and we gave it a thorough scouring on top of the normal clean. We strive for all our guests to be satisfied.
Just one thing - there are 6 pubs and 5 restaurants / cafes within walking distance of the house.
I hope you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your 4 star rating

"Awesome house and awesome holiday"
We stayed in this house for one week at the start of the summer. The house was perfect. All the mod cons you need. DVD's left by the owners for us to use and even some water sports gear to use for free!!!! The house was clean as a whistle and built with the family in mind. In the morning we could walk to the shop in the village with the kids and in the evening we walked to the pub for a pint. A great restaurant only a few minutes walk away and loads for the kids to do. Just perfect. I could not find one bad thing to say about this house or the holiday. The kids just loved it. The beach is a short 5 minute walk and it is perfect for the kids to swim or run wild Honestly...we will be going back again! I can honestly say if you don't love this house or this area then you will never be happy. PS: Go to Spillanes for the Mussels
Thank you for your lovely review - we try to add little things every year such as toys, DVDs and books to make your holidy better

"Perfect Slice of Ireland"
This house was roomy enough for six, with three bathrooms, it was very comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful, with unmatched, unspoiled beauty. Close enough for many day trips by car or train, to places of interest. We would recommend this house to any friend or family memeber who visits Ireland.
It was lovely to meet your family at the airport on your arrival. Great the Big home coming to Ireland worked out so well for you all, only to glad to be of help with Hertz, many thanks also for you lovely comments on my wifes home baking :)

We stayed in Caher place for one week in September. 2 Caher place is a lovely house, set in the centre of everything Castlegregory has to offer. We, 3 adults and two toddlers, loved not only the location, but how this house came with everything we needed. The house was fitted with all modern conviences, washing machine, dishwasher etc, but also the lovely owners supplied bed linen, towels, a great selection of DVDs and books! The house is located on Strand Road, a mere 4 minutes walk to the beach. Castlegregory beach is a lovely stretch of clean sand and calm waters, perfect for our toddlers to paddle and play on the beach. Castlegregory itself has so much to offer all different groups, particularly of the outdoor variety. 2 miles from the house is one of the longest stretches of beaches in Europe, where you can do activities such as surfing, kite surfing, wind surfing, horse treking, to name but a few. We will definately be returning to 2 Caher place.....my 2 year old wants to move there permanently! My only advice is for holidaying in Ireland in general....pack your wellies, rain coats, shorts and swimming gear...any weather is possible, any time of the year!
