The County Kerry region
County Kerry s weather on the Dingle peninsula is mild because of the west and southwest winds-it is always warm. Palm trees, tropical plants, fuchsia and the kerry Lily florish in this region. The Gulf Stream runs into its shores, Mexican heat which has been literally dragged North from the gulf of Mexico where it escapes between Florida and Cuba fleeing the gulf stream as it marches on its way to kerry.
Castlegregory area
Claghane is a small living rural village hosting St Brendans original church dating back to the seventh century. It sits at the foot of Mount Brandon and was part of the original pilgrims trail. From this small village the ascent along the Saints Path brings you to the peak of Mount Brandon and through a jouney through Mountain ranges and landscapes which are older than the Himallays.
Dingle is one of the the nearest towns to Ballynalacken/Cloghane . Dingle is a town renowned for its vibrant sounds , tasts and atmoshere. With Irish music played in most bars, fishing, tourist drives, walking ,bird watching , horse riding and sailing being some of the activites on offer. Dingle is also part of an artist colony in which locally grown artists who are fast becoming collectors items.
