There is a separate annex building with games room. The large 17 metre pool is shared with 2 smaller apartments, Maria and Lisetta, which can also be rented for larger groups or family.
Have a day round the pool, or spend time touring the dozens of hill top villages, visiting the local market town of Castelnuovo or wandering the labyrinth cobbled streets of nearby Barga.
Within walking distance are the local tennis courts, mini market. small cafe/bar and the village of Villa Collemandina with bank, chemist, food shop and post office.
For the more energetic Garfagnana has the best walking in all of Tuscany. Outdoor activities are highly developed and can be easily arranged.

Saturday to Saturday not essential.
In colder weather there will be a metred charge for central heating, usually 10/15 Euros per day. Firewood is provided free of charge.
All other expenses are included in the rental cost. Towels and bed linen included.

Tuscany is the most popular region of Italy, famous for its wonderful climate, landscape, and art treasures.
The famous "art" cities of Florence, Sienna and Lucca are huge attractions, whilst the culinary tradition is there to be savoured.
The Castiglione di Garfagnana area
The area is well known for its excellent value cooking, using the best of local ingredients. A typical set lunch with 4 choices of pasta course, and 4 choices of main course costs only 9 Euros inclusive of bread, wine and coffee. It is possible to have a multi-course traditional Sunday lunch or dinner with ample wine, coffee and liquors for less than 25 Euros.

Lucia is a really nice big apartment in a beautiful area. Giovanna is a fantastic hostess, and the X-Box kept the kids happy on the one day that it rained- Vera Smith, Sheffield.
