Easy access to all amenities, including local markets, bars and many traditional restaurants. The residence benefits from its own private outdoor pool. Leading from the living room are a balcony and a spacious veranda with stunning sea views, furnished with tables and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the flat is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Sardinia region

Castelsardo / Lu Bagnu area

Lu Bagnu lies only 2 km away from the fortified medieval borough of Castelsardo, which is situated on the summit of a rocky promontory in a strategic position dominating the harbour and has kept its ancient charm over the past 900 years. The castle, city walls and the Aragonese tower of the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Antonio Abate (where you can admire its high altar and the famous Madonna del Maestro di Castelsardo painting) soar out of the cliffs in front of a crystal sea - a sight which gives this place a magical beauty that can charm anyone who visits it.

Castelsardo's economy is traditionally based on agricultural and fishing, especially lobsters that are later prepared according to the local fishermen's antique recipes. Castelsardo is also famous for its production of woven baskets, one of the Sardinian handicrafts most appreciated all over the world. In addition, Castelsardo offers a variety of entertainment in different piano bars, pubs, indoor and outdoor discos, gyms, fitness clubs, diving centres offering guided immersions, service centres offering propane tank rentals and re-fills, rubber dinghy and yacht charters and a new Aquatic Park only few minutes from Castelsardo.

The town position is geographically optimal for exploring the Northern coastline of Sardinia, with Sassari and Porto Torres only 30 kilometres away, while Santa Teresa di Gallura and Alghero are 70 kilometres away in opposite directions. Nearby Castelsardo various places of interest are worth a visit, such as the necropolis of Anghelu Ruju (one of the most important archaeological sites of Sardinia, because it has one of the most vast and ancient complex of artificial caves utilised by different civilisations from approx. 3000 to 1500 BC), the remarkable series of caves Neptune’s Grotto, the Rock of Elephant (a prehistoric tomb that was shaped like an elephant by limestone erosion), an old monastery, a few nuraghes (prehistoric towers), the island of Asinara (an ex-prison island where you can see white donkeys) and the famous beach of La Pelosa (one of the most beautiful beaches in the Med).
