The house is a stunning townhouse, totally restored with the best materials, it's in two levels each around 100m2

The Lot valley is set in a beautiful unspoilt countryside, with a lovely warm climate, you can visit the many chateaux, and taste the local wine and food, there are many antique markets and charming villages.

The Midi-Pyrenees region
The Lot Valley is a charming area of rural France, with many attractions for it's visitors. There are some lovely old towns such as Figeac and the spectacular "hanging villages" of St.Cirq-Lapopie and Calvignac.
The area boasts of some impressive prehistoric sites among them the caves of Pech Merles with ir's paintings of horses and mammoths.
Also and amazing wildlife is to be found, myriads of butterflies and birds, and a spectacular variety of plants, especially orchids. However it wouldn't be complete description without a word about it's gastronomy: truffels/cepes/fois gras/duck/goat cheese and the good Cahors wine.
Castelnau-Montratier is very close to Cahors in the South West of France, is a town of many delights, you are spoilt for choice, of what to see and do.
Cahors is a medieval city, it has a Gallo Roman section, a splendid cathedral.
It is the centre for shopping, for all the surrounding areas, not to mention the many cafes and restaurant, and the excellent wine and food.
