The contemporary décor and furnishings blend well with the sympathetically restored historic parts of the house.
The brand-new swimming pool will be opened for the first time in the next May 2009.
The large and luminous lounge with duel aspect doors overlooking countryside. The front double door leads out onto the covered pergola and outside eating area where there is a tantalising glimpse of the sea on the horizon. The comfortable twin bedroom with wardrobe and drawers and below a view from the roof terrace. The roof terrace provides 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside.
Trullo Sotto Le Stelle stands in a tranquil and panoramic position amidst acres of Olive, Cherry and Almond trees, this house is ideally located for exploring the many and varied attractions of this part of Puglia. Not to be missed is the Trulli town of Alberobello, now a World Heritage site, a short 7 Km drive away. The Grottoes of Castellana just 5 minutes away are famous for their beautiful caverns and rock formations. If bathing is your pleasure then the thermal springs and calm clear waters of the Adriatic coast are only a twenty minute scenic drive away.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is a wonderful area to consider. It offers at least one excellent archeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hilltowns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.
Castellana Grotte area
Castellana Grotte stands at the limits of an extended, depressed land-mass. It is the most striking example in a series of places that connote the morphology of the entire Lower-Murgia territory. Castellana Grotte, as its name suggests, is known best for its caves, they are regarded as the most magnificent in Italy. Long galleries alternate with spectacular caves, and all of them filled with many forms of stalactite and stalagmite.
What to see: - Chiesa del Purgatorio is rich in renaissance and baroque paintings.
- Church of S. Francesco d'Assisi has rich baroque altars, decorated with stone statues and engravings.
- The Grottoes The visitable section of the caves covers about 3km through underground passages, corridors and caves. The terminal point of the route is the spectacular White Cave, which is considered amongst the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, stalactite cave in the world.
- The Convent of the Frati Francesci is interesting and the annexed church is dedicated to the Madonna della Vetrana, the patron saint of the town, venerated because she saved the inhabitants from the Black death in 1691. This event is remembered during the festival of the "falò" (bonfire) every January, when the picture of the Madonna goes from the convent to the mother church with a solemn procession and, after a week, comes back to the convent.
