Angel Apartments are located in Heavenly Bay, Castara - a quiet fishing village where all the locals are very friendly. There are various bars and restaurants scattered around Castara or you can buy local produce and cook in the well equipped kitchen in the apartment and eat al-fresco on the large verandah!
There is a bus service into Scarborough (Tobago's Capital) or hire a car for a few days and visit some of the stunning beaches and bays dotted along the island. Dont' forget to enjoy the local Rum Punch! and take a boat trip to the Nylon Pool!

The Tobago region
Unspoilt beaches, tropical birds, a place to relax..................
Tobago is 41 kilometres long by 14 kilometres wide and home to the oldest protected lush rainforest in the Western hemisphere and the last of the unspoilt Caribbean. The capital of Tobago is Scarborough in the South of the island.
Tobago does have a "rainy" season but that is what makes the island so special!
Castara area
The location of Angel Apartments in Castara is stunning. A local fishing village on the northernly coast of Tobago with the crystal caribbean sea and beautiful beach. Bo Shanty's situated on the large beach is wonderful for a massage by Natasha. There are small shops scattered around where you have buy most provisions needed. Try a local Rum Punch at the Treetops or the Boathouse or visit Mr. Wallace's Bar to chat with the locals!
How to get there
Flights from Gatwick on Excel Airways/British Airways/Virgin Atlantic direct to Crown Point, Tobago. We recommend Mohammed at Newmont Travel on 0208 920 1122 Taxi pick-ups can be arranged for you. A taxi to Castara takes 30-40 minutes and should cost approx. TT250.00 (£25.00) There are several car-hire companies at airport - Sheppys and Porridge are guest recommendations. Further details indoors: Well equipped kitchen, dining area for 4. Comfortable lounge area opening on to large verandah with furniture. Large bedroom wtih king size bed leading into large shower room. All linen and towels are provided and should you require anything please ask our cleaner ladies - Gloria, Marlene or Veronica.
We can provide extra single size beds and baby cots should these be required.
Further details outdoors: 30 metres from the beach The Boathouse Bar and Restaurant situated directly in front of Angel Apartments where food and drinks can be purchased (check opening times) Normally closed Sundays. A stroll around to the larger bay in Castara where you can visit Debbie and Dexter at the Treetops Restaurant overlooking the lovely beach and carribean sea or play a game of pool in the Cascreole Bar. Fresh Bread is baked in Castara every Thursday and Saturday - you really need to get there early to order bread and cakes from the ladies!
