About the home

This property and area will suit all. The Villa is set in a rural location overlooking mountains. Alicante is around 25min drive away where you can experiance the famous shopping, restaurants, port and wide sandy beach ideal for the young family. If you do not fancy the drive the Villa has everything you could wish for, 8x4 metre swimming pool, withoutside shower, gardens to all sides, BBQ and no need to take home the dirty washing as the kitchen is fully equipped with all household appliances. There is satelite TV, all English channels, DVD with good selection of films, including children's DVDs.There is also a childs buggy and cot and baby walker.
There are 3 good size bedrooms, 1 with en-suite.There is one childs cot and a double sofa bed and plenty of wardrobe space.There is also a large shower room.
The Villa is only a short walk away from the local Pub, this serves food. Bank and small shop is also only a short walk away.There is a theatre in town and check out the Fiestas.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Fantastic holiday base. A colourful coastline with pristine beaches and first-class attractions, giving way to a lush interior laced with historical treasures - the Costa Blanca promises you a truly memorable holiday. Sunshine most of the year.Temperatures range from 20 in April to 30+june July and average around 23 c in October.
The villa is set in mountains with views over open land and olive groves. Beautiful walks. Castalla town is 4 minutes away with 11th Century castle, restaurants and bars, sports centre and shopping. Festivals in Castalla from March to January. Local market days are Tuesday and Saturday.
Alicante a cultural city with parks, excellent shopping night-life, Alicante also enjoys its fine sandy beaches with multiple services. The interior of the Province of Alicante boasts ancient Moorish settlements and quiet villages.
35min drive to Terra Mitica one of the largest theme parks in Europe, great for kids.
35 min drive to Benidorm, and Elche, the city of palms is approximately 40 minutes down the road. Villajoyosa- the choclate city is south of Benidorm. Guadalest, is well worth a visit. It boasts a dramatic Moorish fortress and provides areal insight into Spanish life and culture. This region really has got it all-glorious sunshine,long swathes of sugar- soft sands and resorts to suit all tastes.

The Castalla area

Castalla enjoys a wonderful temperate Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. Spectacular 11th century castle sits high above the town where visitors can enjoy superb views of the town and surrounding valley and mountains. Also in the town is a Renaissance style Town Hall dating from the 17th Century.
Spanish festivals from March to January / Moors and Christians.
Local markets Tuesday and Saturday
Horse riding/Mountain biking and beautiful walks. Sports centre and theatre.Community pool and bar.
Many typical fortified Spanish towns around this area.
Play golf, many golf courses within 30 minutes of villa, for example Alicante, Bonalbi and Alenda.

From Alicante airport take A-7 MOTORWAY ,,signposted, Benidorm/Valencia,exit junction 13 heading towards Alcoy on A-77 carry on for 25K until you see turn off for Castalla. At the roundabout take first exit signposted Castalla International.
