About the home

Podere Monti is a delightful farmhouse which dates back to the 17th Century. Great care has been taken to restore all its original features whilst incorporating all the modern conveniences. Podere Monti apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, livingroom with kitchenette, bathroom and outdoor private space with table and chairs. It has its own entrance and very well furnished inside and out for maximum comfort. The apartment can be rented with the 'Corte' Studio, to transform it into one unic apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen-livingroom and outdoor space overlooking the garden and other outdoor space on the east side (recently renovated) with table, chairs, gazebo surrounded by hedges of laurel. Directly managed by the owners, and surrounded by 5 hectares of cultivated fields, Podere Monti holiday farmhouse is the ideal pleace where guests find themselves immersed in the paradise of Tuscan countryside for a holiday in search of nature and art.

The outdoor area is composed of a large garden with tables to eat outdoors and a deckchair to relax in, a splendid swimming pool (measuring 6 x 12 m) from which you can enjoy a spectacular view over San Gimignano and a woodland park where you can take relaxing walks, treks or cycle for lovers of mountain bikes.

The apartment "Mandorlo" is composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin beds bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining area. Outside, it has its private patio with flowers,table and chairs.The "Mandorlo" can be rented with the "Corte" Sudio,to transform it into 1 big apartment for 6 people with 3 bedrooms,2 bathroom,kitchen,dining area,1 private patio over looking the garden and 1 other private bigger patio with Gazebo,table ans chairs surrounded by green hedges of laurel.This is a fantastic solution for a big familiy which need privacy and space.

The furniture is in classic style with exposed ceiling beams and terracotta floors. The thick walls of the holiday house allow you to enjoy the pleasant coolness of summer holidays and warmth during winter stays.
The apartment can be equipped with cots for babies and each room has its own heating system on a pay-per-use basis. There is a weekly linen change and final cleaning included in the price.

Podere Monti holiday house offers an ideal environment for countryside excursions on foot or on mountain bikes. The environment surrounding the holiday homes includes woodland owned by the proprietors that enables comfortable, relaxing and quiet walks. The swimming pool is open to guests from May to September.

Podere Monti is located only 1,2 km from Casole d'Elsa, a very lovely town. In Casole you can find shops, a little supermarket, very good restaurants and pizzerias, 1 bank, post office, post box a quiet big Church, 2 baker's shops, cafes and a night pub.
Podere Monti is surrounded by hedges of laurel, a 300 years holm oak and by big cypresses. Beyond the garden there are 5 hectares of green fields and a woodpark.
The car park is within the enclosed area.

- Prices are per week and are expressed in euros.

- Prices are per week up to 6 persons. Rates are applied with regard to number of sleepings used,therefore duing peak season the charge for the 7th person is 150 Euros per week,the charge for the 8th person is 150 euros per week. Persons are also the children over 2 years old.

- If upon arrival the number of guests is exceeded, we are forced to reject the extra guests not provided at time of reservation.

-Prices below include: taxes, supply of linens and towels and final cleaning (except the kitchen that must be left clean).

-Central heating is not included. It is paid locally if required.

- Washing machine use is not included in the price.

- Change over day is Saturday with the exception of Low season when you can arrive any day of the week.

-Minimum stay: 2 nights during low season, minimum 1 week during mid and high season.

- cot for babies + high chair: 30 euros.

- Rental is Saturday to Saturday during mid season and high season, for any other time: low season, Easter and Christmas you can arrive any day of the week.

- The Christmas, New years, Easter periods and all public holidays are considered a single season. If you need to get prices contact the facility directly.

- Damage deposit on arrival and refunded on departure: 200 euros.

- Arrival between 15:00 and 18:00 hour.

- Departure before 9.00 am.

- - It is requested a deposit of 35% upon making the booking, The deposit is not refundable.
