The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
The pleasant sandy beach of Cascais is 10 minutes walking distance and can be viewed from the terrace. There is a long stretch of beaches all the way to Estoril, all with their individual character. The beaches provide all amenities such as sunbeds, parasols and there are restaurants and cafés in the fantastic wide beach walkway just above.

Beaches You can sample a different beach every day even if you stay a month! The local beaches walking distance have quiet waters. Further afield, Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is six kilometres away. Many other sandy beaches are close by, each with its individual character. Less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast several beaches are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

How to get there
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the apartment can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes via the A5 motorway or the more scenic road along the river to Cascais.
The apartment is so well situated and transport is so good that you can opt for a car free holiday. Cascais train station is 10 minutes walk. The picturesque train ride along the Tagus river estuary to Lisbon takes 35 minutes.
