Close to excellent golf courses, tennis and horse riding facilities, fantastic beaches and good restaurants. Vila Bicuda is a nice resort with everything you can expect. The bakery is something special. The vila was good and well planed and equiped. Could have been closer to the private poolarea but on the other hand it was quiet. No sun at the terrace in the morning for breakfast but in the afternoon and evening. We are used to much softer beds, but you can't get everything. |

Dark, dingey, unclean, furniture worn and shabby, pillows were brown, Cupboards full of dusty old clothes. Musty damp smell, marks on the walls, hair in the beds. This Villa was a 2 star experience. Previous peoples swimwear thrown outside on a bush. Vila Bicuda Resort itself is beautiful, but this particular house is way substandard for the money being chaged. We paid in full, yet could not stay due to the poor standard and we did not receive any refund from the owner whatsoever. This resort has many other beautiful villas but definately steer clear of this one. Response: Invoking personal reasons, upon arrival, the rent was cancelled and in view of impossibility of refund, it has been asked to rent the villa to others, what we´ve tried but without sucess, there wasn´t time to. The cancellation policy is universal and the same adopted by the hotel and the villa is prepared by the same cleaning services. This review is made by someone who is and was owner of a similar villa in the resort. The villa is well known along seven years of renting actiity and recgnised by respectable guests an families quite the opposite of this review, and nowhere can be found any negative comment. |
