The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Near Guinch beach, famous for surfing. Excellent walking trails in area, coastal road that takes you into Cascais where you can rent bikes (for free) also 4 golf courses nearby.
Horseback riding, bike trails in Sintra mountains. Nightlife, restaurants, shops and beaches in Cascais a 10 min drive in. Estoril Casino 10 min drive or Golf. Beautiful historic Sintra 15 mins away. Mafra Palace 30mins away. Take the train from Cascais into Lisbon, fabulous way to get into the city, lovely views.
The Cascais / Aldeia de Juzo area
Excellent for walkers, surfers, horse riding in Charneca, café in Aldeia de Juso, local supermarket, butcher, bowling, arcade, quad bike rentals, go carts, restaurants all walking distance! Minutes to the beach. Great for families or couples.
Golfers! There are 4 courses nearby, with in 10 min drive Oitavos in Quinta da Marina, Quinta da Belora, and Estoril golf
