Bright, colourful and, though very spacious, still a cozy apartment with all amenities (microwave, fridge, dish and clothes washing machines, hair dryer, jacuzzi, iron, fireplace, oven, etc.), 2 min walk to city bus stop to the centre and train station, 5 minutes walk to the seaside and 10 min walk to Boca do Inferno. Car is not absolutely essential. 5 minutes to Shopping Mall bus stop.
Casa da Guia with its numerous shops and several restaurants offering different cuisines overlooking the spectacular bay and offering Free Bicycle rentals is at 5 minutes walk from the apartment. It is also a 5 min. walk to the jogging and cycling paths along the seaside, the TelePizza, cafés, delicatessens, supermakets, etc. as well as the bus stop to the huge Cascais Shopping Mall. Across the street is the sports club “Dramatico of Cascais” offering Swiming, gym, aerobics etc.

It has everything one would need for a pleasant holiday and more. Linen, towels, etc. are provided. A lovely place to relax and chill out. Located in the green up-market area of Bairro do Rosario yet very close to all the facilities, town center and the night life. The stop of the BusCas shuttle that does a continuous circle trip and visits all the places of interest and the beaches, etc. is just accross the road. It takes 10 minutes to its farthest point and comes every 10 minutes and.... it only costs 60 cents (40p).
Caiscas Shopping is a huge Mall that caters to all needs for every level and also has all the big brands represented.
A holiday of a lifetime awaits anyone visiting this home and it is a property that will make you want to come back to it. Enjoy!

It has 2 large Terraces. Outside there are lovely green lawns with trees and wide open spaces where you can go for walks or just relax under the trees, read a book or day-dream.

The Costa de Lisboa is a beautiful coast with a coast road starting from Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, the estuary of the Tagus river running all the way to Boca da Roca, the western most point in Europe and beyond. Cascais is located mid-way between the two. It runs past the Docas (Docks) renovated into Discos and restaurants and a focal point for night life, through Belêm with beautiful museums located in Old Palaces and Monastries, through Oeiras the home of the Count of Oeiras and Marquis of Pombal, through Estoril, location of the Casino and famous for car races.
In Cascais there is the Autodrome, an airport at Tires for private aircraft, parks, Golf courses, Marinas, numerous beaches and a vibrant Night Life. At Boca de Roca you can get an official personal certificate of having visited the western most point in Europe.
The Cascais area
Cascais is the centre for international community with diverse and sophisticated nightlife. Just 10 minutes walk from the apartment is the famous Boca do Inferno in which the sea on rougher days hammers into the rock and creates a booming noise and a spectacular spray.
Cascais boasts a smart Marina with lovely boats. The Parque Palmela is an attractive park created by the Duques de Palmela and now maintained by the Townhall in which open-air concerts are often held. Paula Rego Museum is close by.
Bicycles are available to hire (free of charge) from the municipality. There are several stands you can acquire them from but the closest is at Casa da Guia (a 5 min walk from the apartment). You just need to show a photo ID.
The Quinta da Marinha Golf course is just a short drive away., Less than 15 minutes by car.
Within easy reach of Cascais is the famous beach at Guincho with its high waves that attract surfers from all around the world as having some of the best rollers in Europe.
The next town to the east of Cascais is the resort town of Estoril with its aristocratic palaces and mansions and the popular Casino. To the north and within easy reach is the romantic and fascinating town of Sintra made initially known to foreigners by Lord Byron. There is excellent shopping at teh Cascais Shopping Mall where all the famous brands are represented.

From Lisbon Airport take a taxi or Rent a Car and take the A5 to Cascais. Approximately 20-30 min. drive depending on traffic (25 kms from the airport). You drive directly to the apartment as follows: When you reach the end of the Motorway, follow the main road until the 3rd roundabout and turn right downhill to another roundabout take the second exit and you come to another roundabout. Turn right and climb to the 6th roundabout. Go straight (i.e. 2nd exit) and take the 2nd right. Immediately to the left you will see the Dramatico Sports Club. On your right is the building with ample parking space. You have arrived. Welcome!

The apartment was clean and well equipped. Situated in an area well located for everything you need including delicatessen and great cafes selling both traditional portuguese and international food. Just a few minutes walk from the footpath running along the beautiful atlantic coast to world famous Guincho beach. Also minutes from Casa da Guia, where u can eat in great restuarants overlooking spectacular views of the bay of cascais. We had a lovely stay and were made very welcome by the owner. the flat is even bigger than it looks in a fotos and it is very preety and it have all that you need during your stay ,the only thing we didnt like was that you have to walk a lot to the first beach..the owners are very polite and we had a very relaxing holidays..i shurly recommended this place to rent.. The seaside with jogging and cycling paths is just a short walk from the apartment; 5-7 minutes. To the beaches, there is also the choice of a shuttle called Buscas that stops across the road from the apartment and takes you to all the best local beaches as well as the centre of town, the prime spots, the night life (discos, pubs, restaurants, etc.) and the railway station. - Minimum Rental Price per rental is one week (i.e. 6 nights/7 days). The nightly rate is only appicable to extra nights.
- Rates quoted are from 1 to 4 persons.
- Payments by either Bank Transfer or Credit Card via PayPal. The Credit Card company fees will be added to the charges (presently they are 4.5% but this can change dependant on the CC company)
- To confirm the reservation a non-refundable deposit of 20% or € 200 (whichever is more) is required.
- The balance of payment + a refundable damage security deposit of EUR 200: 3 weeks prior to arrival .
-This damage security deposit is returned on departure or a maximum of 7 working days of departure subject to property inspection.
- € 35 as cleaning charges will also apply for each booking.
