The new Vinas del Golf urbinsation is a small, select and colourful gated complex of just 61 luxury apartments with private underground parking and lifts. Situated in the hills above the nearby beaches of Casares Costa and close to the town of Sabinillas, Costa del Sol. We have front line views of the Dona Julia golf course. You can hear the fountains on the golf course from the terrace. There is a outdoor pool (and small children's pool). Sun loungers are available by the pool. There is also an amazing large indoor heated pool with hot tub, gym, sauna and steam rooms- very few developments have luxury facilities on site to match!!! We also have a paddleball court (Paddleball originated in the United States where it is still most popular) and putting green (4 putters and golf balls left for guests' use) on site - these exceptional benefits are just for the exclusive use of the residents and guests of Vinas del Golf - entry only by key. There are no extra charges for using any of the above facilities! All of which are just a short stroll from our apartment .
The apartment is south facing therefore has the benefit of the sun the majorty of the day - the sun rises to the left and the sun sets to the right. We have plenty of outdoor seating so you can sit and relaz and enjoy the sun on one of our two large terraces (one has shade if it gets too hot).
We have furnished our apartment in a modern, contemporary style and to a very high standard -it is very clean, light and spacious with marble flooring throughout most of the apartment.
The apartment is situated on the ground floor and there is a lift from the secure underground car park. There are a few steps to the sun deck downfrom the top terrace. The combined total of both terraces is an exceptional 125 sq m. Safe for your children to play - they cannot escape from the garden as it is raised and fenced.
*The apartment also benefits from a large basement which we have converted into a 3rd bedroom with en-suite - this will be ready for bookings in 2009*.
**Also worth noting for the future is the new luxury 6 * Hyatt Hotel is due for completion in late 2009 and this is in walking distance of the apartment - the facilities there will be numerous but include an infinity pool, luxurious spa area for beauty treatments, restaurants and bars**.

There are over 60 stunning golf courses along the Costa Del Sol coastline. Valderrama is minutes from the apartment at nearby Sotogrande Andalucia is the number one golf destination in Europe and there are at least 6 excellent golf courses within a few minutes drive from Doña Julia Golf Resort (www.golfdonajulia.com) . Finca Cortesin (www.fincacortesin.com) with its Jack Nicklaus Academy is just round the corner on the road to Casares, The Volvo World Match Play Masters Championship will be held at Finca Cortesin in September/October 2009 (date to be confirmed). Estepona, Duquesa Golf & Country Club, San Roque and Sotogrande golf clubs are also very close by.
The Volvo Masters will be held at Valderrama 30th October - 2nd November 2008.
Casares / Casares Bay area
The white village of Casares is a 10 minute drive away and should not be missed. It is virtually untouched by tourism. There are many other places to visit locally including the magnificient Ronda, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona, Benavis, Tarifa and duty free Gibraltar with its world famous Barbary Apes. A little further away are the historic towns of Cadiz, Granada and Seville. It is also possible to visit Morocco from Gibraltar and Tarifa - a short ferry trip. Coach trips can be arranged in the English Book Store, Sabinillas.
The lovely Spanish town off Sabinillas is a few minutes drive away by car. There is a long promenade to stroll along with many restaurants and bars to sample. There are many small shops and several supermarkets in Sabinillas. There is a busy local market here on Sunday mornings and Friday mornings.
Duquesa Port is about 4 minutes drive in the car. There are far too many restaurants/bars here to mention in this space but if you like Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai, then this town is a must place to visit and spend a few hours people watching and looking at the boats in the marina.
Also close by is the lovely town of Estepona also with a long seafront promenade, old town, shops and bars. There is a busy market in the port on Sunday mornings.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are within easy driving distance. Hang out with the rich and famous and visit the designer shops, boutiques and bars centred around the spectacular marina.
Close by is also the Selwo National Park - a nature park where animals of the five continents co-exist in semi-wild conditions.

Further details indoors: Super 2 bed/2bath ground floor garden apartment (125 sq m of terrace) in the Vinas del Golf urbinisation in Casares Costa, Costa del Sol. Vinas del Golf enjoys a quiet, relaxed experience with its communal pool and wonderful tropical gardens, yet is close to all the amentities of Estepona, Sabinallas and Duquesa Port. There is a heated indoor pool in site so this is an excellent base for a winter break.
Our ground floor apartment benefits from wonderful views of the Dona Jula golf course to the front of the apartment - listen to the fountains and watch the golfers play as you enjoy a relaxing drink on the lovely sun deck. There are also views of the Mediterranean sea to the left and the mountains to the right There are vineyards to the left and to the rear of the development. Of the two bedrooms, the master comes with a king sized bed and it's own en-suite (with jaquzzi bath). The second bedroom has twin beds and has use of the second bathroom which has a large walk in shower. Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space.
The lovely light lounge has two soft cream leather sofas, a 37" Samsung flatscreen TV with freeview Sky and a DVD/CD player. A small selection of DVDs and books have been left at the apartment for our guests use. There is a fully equipped kitchen with hig quality Siemens appliances - everything you will need for your holiday including a pizza cutter. Washing powder and dishwasher tablets included!
All linen, towels provided but please bring your own pool/beach towels. There is a hair dryer in the master bedroom.
Further details outdoors: The apartment has two large terraces (125 sq m) overlooking the Dona Julia golf course and with Mediterranean sea vistas to the left and mountains to the right. There is ample outside seating - we have a table and four chairs on the top terrace and a table and four chairs on the sun deck. There is also a parasol and two loungers.
The garden borders are filled with lavender, hibiscus and other Mediterranean plants.
The outdoor pools are within walking distance as are the facilities in the spa (heated indoor pool, hot tub, gym, steam room, changing rooms and showers, paddle tennis and pitch and putt).

For the comfort of all of our guests, no smoking and no pets are allowed in the apartment but you may smoke on the terrace.
Payment is due in full immediately if booking within 8 weeks of departure. Normal booking conditions apply. We recommend you have adquete travel insurance in place in case of cancellations.
If booking more than 8 weeks from departure, then 20% deposit is required to secure your booking (non refundable). The balance will become due 8 weeks before departure.
A security deposit cheque of £150 is required with the remaining balance payment. We will not cash the cheque and it will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your return (subject to satisfactory property inspection on your departure and no damage or theft reported to us by our English property managers). Booking forms are sent once a booking has been made.
Tenants are asked to leave the property clean and tidy and to ensure that they take all belongings with them. On changeover days there is only time for a superficial check and a general clean. We rely upon the goodwill of our guests whose co-operation we greatly appreciate. Should the property be left in a poor condition, requiring more intensive cleaning, then this will be charged at £10 per hour and deducted from the security deposit.
All bed linen and bathroom towels (not pool) are provided for your stay.

All prices quoted are for the apartment per week (not per person) and include linen, towels (not pool towels), air conditioning, electricity and water and small welcome pack.

You will be met at the apartment by our English representative and shown the apartment and given keys. Arrivals after 9pm will incur an extra cost. They will meet you when you leave the apartment to collect the keys and quickly check the apartment. Your security deposit will be returned to you when we have had confirmation that there has been no damage in the apartment.

Your apartment is modern and beautifully furnished and we thought the location was fantastic, so close to the golf course and local town and beach – everything we were looking for was on the doorstep. The apartment was much larger than we expected and much better equipped. Had not even given a thought if there would be a dishwasher so pleased there is one. Actually phoned our airline to see if we could get a later flight home as we enjoyed our stay so much. Loved relaxing by the outdoor pool on the sun loungers. Did not even get time to try the indoor pool etc... Glad we rented a car as this meant we could visit lots of lovely places locally - Ronda, Mijas, Estepona Gibraltar, Casares, Marbella and P. Banus. If it has not been so hot, would have walked to the local beach. Sadly did not get time to vist the local markets which was on our list of things to do.. We watched all of the DVDs - the leather sofas are so comfortable, it was just so relaxing watching the TV after a day exploring in the hot sun. Nine days was just not enough. We did indeed have a good holiday. The weather was really good. Isn’t it always that? The apartment is very nice and situated well (if you have a car). We also had time for visit a lot of interesting things (Gibraltar, Tarifa, Sevilla, Ronda, Granada and Marbella/Puerto Banus), so it all went perfect. You have decorated the apartment very well and with great taste. It is beautiful. We also found almost everything we needed, but it would be nice with a mixer and a cooling box (an isolated box to bring in the car for keeping water etc. cold). The two terraces are absolutely terrific. It’s a nice place for eat, read or just relax. We didn’t use the living room at all besides going to/from the terrace. We had a lovely time in Spain thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your holiday let, it was clean and pleasant and the facilities very conducive to a family with 2 young teenagers. Your directions and recommendations of places to visit were spot on. We only figured out the Sauna the day before we left but made use of the Jacuzzi and gym, some weights would be nice though. Just back to work today and it was lovely to hear from you. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful apartment. We had a bit of a hiccup with the Freeview for a couple of days, but we made the most of your DVD collection. I also enjoyed the books you have as most of them were just my taste. The weather wasn’t that bad apart from a couple of really rainy days but we just had a trip out to the Shopping Mall near Benalmadena one day and took Mum to one of the best tapas bars we know in Marbella (just off the Plaza de los Naranjas) on the second one. All in all we had a really relaxing time and made the most of the indoor pool and putting green. I shall certainly recommend your villa to everyone and hope that we will be returning in the future.
