Situated within a secure gated community this 90m2 apartment is finished to an extremely high standard and contains everything you need for your stay. The accommodation is all on one level and has marble flooring and air conditioning throughout.
The lounge has a 43" flat screen television, DVD player, SKY digibox (English channels), XBOX 360 and a Playstation 2 games console. It has patio doors opening onto the large sun terrace which has magnificent breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
The master bedroom is extremely well equipped. There are two connecting single beds, an abundance of storage and fitted wardrobes. The room also has a 32" lcd TV (connected to English Sky channels) . An en suite with a bath, shower, WC, basin and bidet compliments this room. There are patio doors that open onto the sun terrace.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and a 22" LCD TV with a DVD player. There is a further family bathroom with a bath, shower, WC and basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker/hob, microwave, washing machine and a large fridge freezer. There is a large selection of cooking equipment for those who wish to dine al fresco on the balcony.
Both sets of single beds can be joined to form 6' super king size. There are a further two stowaway single beds (suitable for children) and a travel cot (bedlinen for travel cot not supplied).
Further details outdoors:
The large sun terrace at the rear of the property overlooks the swimming pool and mediterranean sea. It is equipped with a fabulous outdoor corner sofa, a dining table seating 6 and a gas BBQ. There is also a terrace at the front of the apartment which is a sun trap until the early evening. There is also 2 large sunloungers for your use.
Both terraces are ample in size providing a large secure area for the little ones to run around.

Rentals are to be Saturday to Saturday and minimum stay of 1 week
All bed and bath linen provided (not including beach towels).
The apartment is all on one level but access is gained by climbing down several steps.
A welcome pack can be provided at an extra cost of 10 euros.
**You must provide copies of photo I/D to the owner - no I/D = no rental**
Conditions
Strictly no smoking inside the apartment.
Deposit required to secure booking. Balance will be due as per quote. £300 security deposit payable prior to departure which will be refunded on your return - subject to satisfactory property inspection.
A 50 euros cleaning fee is payable locally (4 persons), 60 euros cleaning for 5 persons and 70 euros for 6 persons. This is for a basic clean. You are required to leave the apartment as you found it (bar bedlinen and bathtowels) Any excess cleaning will be recovered from your security deposit.
Excessive use of the airconditioning will be taken from your security deposit. Meter readings are taken prior to your arrival and after your departure.

BookThe Costa del Sol region
This region typically enjoys 340 days of sunshine per year. Even in Winter the temperatures are pleasant and mild (think of a nice summers day in the UK). The summer months are very hot but with the pool being so close by you will never miss an opportunity to cool off.
For those who like golf the choice of courses is abundant. From the championship course of Valderrama to the Jack Nicklaus academy at Finca Cortesin, there is a course to suit everyone and every budget.
The beautiful town of Ronda is just over an hours drive away. The views looking down the gorge and across the valley is breathtaking. If you feel like venturing further Seville is only 2hrs away.
The Casares / Casares Bay area
The apartment is only 500m from the nearest beach, Casares Playa. This beach is beautifully clean and boasts the most charming beachside fish restaurant. Even in the height of summer the beach is relatively quiet.
On Casares Playa is the beautiful beachfront La Perla Beach Restaurant and Bar which serves typical andalucian food and drinks. A beautiful place to relax whilst the sun sets.
New to the area is the amazing Finca Cortesin Beach Club. This is part of the famous Finca Cortesin group who host the Volvo World Golf championships each year (this course is appx. 1.5km from the apartment). The beach club is next to La Perla Restaurant and takes appx. 10 mins to walk to from the apartment. The Beach Club is stunning. Teak steamer furniture, a blue/black infinity pool and private Bali Beds make your day at the club excquisite. The beach club has an a la carte restaurant, a bar and they also offer poolside snacks. A great place to go for a treat!!
Estepona beach (a few minutes drive away) has fantastic shallow waters which is ideal for those with children or even grown ups who like to 'plodge'.
At the rear of the complex is a new park area. This has a play area for small children (my children 5 & 8 love it!!) and a 'Chiringuito' which serves drinks (soft and alcoholic) and tapas. It is open from 10.30am til 11pm every day. The park is illuminated at night and is almost fully enclosed. An excellent place to wander to in the early evening as the sun is setting.
The apartment is in a prime location - whether you want to relax by the pool, take a stroll to the beach or even climb a mountain; everything is just a stones throw away. For those who really want to chill out the 5 star Gran Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa is only 5 minutes away. For 30 euros you can spend the whole day in the luxurious surroundings. 'Puro Beach' @Laguna Beach can be hard to resist; only a 5 minute drive from the apartment will take you to the ultimate in luxury sunbathing... With its infinity pool, butler service, private chill out tents and designer shops, you will feel like a celebrity!
Sabinillas/Manilva
Sabinillas is predominantly a market town just a couple of minutes drive (1km) from the apartment. Here you will find everything you need for your stay, supermarkets, banks,bars, restaurant and Cafes. There is a street market every Friday and a massive local market every Sunday in nearby Manilva. The beach at Sabinillas is fabulous and littered every hundred metres or so are wooden climbing/play frames with swings etc for children. There are numerous restaurants and tapas bars along the sea front, catering for all tastes - Italian, Argentinian, American and Spanish (to name but a few) and for those of you who can't leave the UK behind there is even a place that serves a good old english breakfast.
The area even boast original Roman Spa Baths dating back to 1st Century BC. It is claimed that the might Julius Caesar took to these waters.... Well if it's good enough for JC himself....
Puerto de la Duquesa
A charming port only 2kms away with a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The port was once
described as the next Puerto Banus but thankfully it has retained all of its charm and quiet environment. The port is flanked by two very long, sandy beaches, one running to the west towards Sotogrande and Gibraltar, the other to the east, past the apartment and onto Estepona.
There is nothing nicer than popping into Duquesa in the early evening and watching the world go by as you sip your tipple of choice in one of the fabulous port side cafes and bars. The sunsets here are glorious. Then when you can drag yourself away from the view you can make the hard decision of where and what to eat. Like Sabinillas, Duquesa has a huge choice of restaurants - Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, English, Spanish....
There is also a small selection of exclusive boutiques in the Port.
Casares Village
A beautiful unspoilt village set into the hillside approximately 4km from the apartment. There are several superb local restaurants on the road leading to Casares. A visit to Casares is a must if you want the real feel of Spain.
Estepona
Estepona is one of the few coastal towns that has succeeded in maintaining its andalucian charm and character. The Estepona Marina is situated at the west end of the seafront promenade. This is a very pleasant place for a stroll and there are some magnificent boats moored here. There are numerous excellent bars and restaurants suiting all ages and tastes. There is a popular tourist market here on a Sunday morning. There are numerous beaches to choose from which are particularly suited to families because of the safe, shallow waters. Estepona Town centre has an unusual pink granite walkway which is littered with more cafes and tapas bars. There is also a huge children's play area adjacent to the beach. Estepona is 5kms away from the apartment.

Tarifa - appx 1hr drive to the west. Tarifa is globally famous for the fantastic watersports offered there.
Ronda - appx 1hr drive inland. Ronda has breathtaking scenery, stunning architecture and a wealth of gastronomic outlets.
Golf
The apartment is nestled between several superb golf courses including Dona Julia and the new championship course Finca Cortesin which is a spectacular 18 hole, 7,000 metre course, plus a Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy.

Many low cost airlines fly to Malaga from the UK and Europe. If you are travelling from the UK try Easyjet/Thomsonfly/Jet2/Monarch - generally the earlier you book the cheaper your flight! If you are looking last minute try greatlatedeals.co.uk, they often provide some great prices. Check out www.skyscanner.com - this is a great site for finding flights to Malaga and Gibraltar.
Car hire is recommended. For several years we have booked through a broker - www.travelsupermarket.com. The website is easy to use and most of the rental firms are located in Malaga Airport itself. www.ebookers.com also provides competetive deals.
We will provide you with comprehensive directions (inc. picture by picture for each turn you need to take) to ease the worry of driving abroad. My husband and I actually prefer driving in Spain - better quality roads, quieter and it feels more natural to drive on the right!!
When your booking is confirmed a detailed information pack will be sent to you - this includes turn by turn pictures of the route from Malaga Airport to the accommodation.

Me and my husband stayed here on our honeymoon with our two year old son and it was absolutely fantastic. The apartment is well equipped and beautiful and the surrounding scenery is just stunning! The owners provided lots of information to help make our arrival as smooth as possible as well as lots of useful information on our stay which was very valuable especially with a small child in tow. The swimming pools and gardens on site are very well maintained and child friendly and the complex is very secure. There is a child friendly park a 5 minute walk away which sells tapas, beer and cocktails!!!! The beaches nearby are lovely and the restaurants serve amazing food! It is just a short drive away from some lovely ports with huge choices of restaurants and bars. A car is definitely recommended just so that you can see more of the area and get to the supermarkets etc! Overall our holiday was fantastic and we would highly recommend the apartment to others whether it be a couple, family or group of friends, it is suitable for all! We will definitely be going back, cant wait!!!! |
