The Costa del Sol region
The Costa Del Sol weather with around 320 days of sunshine and temperatures averaging 19 C makes it an ideal all year round sun break. The area is diverse and offers something for everyone. from bustling international resorts like Marbella to the less well known gems like Duquesa and Casares which have a more traditional town and village atmosphere.
There are numerous blue flag beaches for those looking for pure relaxationand watersports, plus a great selection of bars and restaurants.
There are Water and Wildlife Parks for entertaining the younger members, and and the area is famous for it's World Class Golf facilities for those wishing to test and improve their handicap.
The Casares area
Casares is a stunning picture postcard white washed village, with a population of just three thousand set back from the Coast. Around Casares is some of the most stunning countryside and from the top of the village, you can see Gibraltar and beyond that Africa.
The ports of Duquesa, Estepona, Banus are only a short distance away whilst Gibraltar itself is around 25 minutes drive and well worth a visit for the tax free shopping, the famous apes and the rock with it's caves and fortifications. For the more adventurous Morocco( Algeciras) is a day trip away!
The apartment is short walk walk to the beach, 2 minutes drive to Sabillinas, 5 minutes to Puerto Duquesa
Casares de Sol also benefits tremendously from local golf courses. Along the left hand flank there is the Elegance Dona Julia Golf and Casares courses, consisting of two 18 hole and one nine hole course.Running across the back of our site to the North is the El Cortesin 18 hole golf course and hotel, now home to the Volvo World Matchplay.
The world famous courses of Valderama ,San Roque and Sotogrande are all within easy reach.
